Option 22. The Bird of Paradise 🐤 January 30, 2017 Option 21 was presented and somehow could for now be the choice although the color palette does not wow me. I thought I could come up with another option which looks a bit vibrant and true to the roots The bird of paradise is the real inspiration for this look. The rich red and canary yellow colors of this flower evokes a lively spirit and festive mood. Girl Yellow flower against the black curly hair Golden yellow tube top with an image of a wild bird spread out. Sparkly beads, stones, etc. will be used to create it. Big red herring bone stitching on the upper waste as details A plain dark green sheath will complete the dress A pair of red trims on both ankles for an added impact. Could be simple bands or feathers. Boy Head dress just like the flower itself with bold red and yellow colors. No upper garment necessary Skintight pants with a big web in between the legs. Big leaf detail forming the web part to emphasize the primitive way of walking and jumping during the festival dance

Option 20 Tulang for girls and Teal shorts for boys January 29, 2017 These are just quick sketches made out of boredom while spending a lazy moment with family that night. It only took 8 minutes to create them. Girls Tulang or Dragonfly The salaginto green color appears to be attention grabbing and this lead to an interest with insects in general. That transparent wing with its rigid veins is the deciding factor really why the Tulang concept was born

Option 19 Cycada or Kuliglig Still experimenting with transparent wings. They could be made out of clear plastic sheets, the kind you use to cover books. The veins could be created with a heated soldering gun or the tried and tested secret method used last year. It is not certain though if we can create a nice and firm wing structure without having to use thick wires.

Option 18 Burda Heavily embroidered design mainly on the front bodice that's the idea for this look. Thick and chunky golden threads It would be better if there is a real metal added to this dress and give it that old world armor appeal. It could be a thin metal formed into a wide belt or breast plate

Option 14 Naruto cloud The Naruto cloud ☁ is the main inspiration of this look. It is envisioned to be light, colorful, young and vibrant. It should show a hint of opportunity and progress for the Aetas depicted here as the vast lands of Clark Pampanga in navy blue with growing vegetation. The anito face at the center.
