This account is dead

Hi. If you’re seeing this, you’re either still following this account (for some reason) or you’ve come to it since I’ve left. It’s been about 3 years since I said I was going on an indefinite hiatus, and now I know I’m not coming back. I won’t go into detail about why. The short version is that I have a lot of negative/toxic associations with this site despite trying to come back.

If you’re seeing this and you still want to follow me (despite the fact that I’ve changed as a person and have different views now) you can find me @ HazelGEvans on Twitter. Follow me or not, I don’t care. But either way, I’m not on this account. And if you’re someone who knew me and you’re trying to contact me using this account/username, I’ve probably moved past the time in my life where I could deal with that.

I’m still an “ace inclusionist” and if you exclude “cishet aces” then fuck you, but other than that almost everything has changed. Pretty much all my political/sociopolitical views have changed in the past couple years.

I’m leaving this account up mostly so that there’s a log of things I said back in the day, but I won’t be posting anything new anymore. Again, if you want to follow me, do it on Twitter. Otherwise, have a good life.

I’m going on an indefinite hiatus

So I’ve been considering leaving Tumblr (at least temporarily) for a while now, and I’m finally doing it. Tumblr has turned into a place where I’m constantly annoyed, and I that’s been slowly getting under my skin. Adding on top of that the fact that I’m back from summer break and don’t have a whole lot of time for Tumblr, plus the final straw that Chrome disabled XKit somehow, and now won’t work at all. I may come back, but for now, I just need a break.

I will still get email notifications if you mention me in something or send an ask, so you can still contact me, but other than that, I’m out.
