So I found out that horses do in fact exist in Star Wars (Wookieepedia says they’re found on Endor, Dathomir and Coruscant!), and as I'm a certified Horse Girl™, I had to draw the mounted division of the Coruscant Guard!

Maybe one day I’ll be patient enough to give this a proper Coruscant background, but not today.

My impressions of the Star Wars sub-fandoms as someone who’s been in the SW fandom for ~two months

•Clone wars fandom: tragic, crying, shipping is their favorite pastime

•Rebels fandom: somewhat mentally stable, only because they’re in denial and have convinced themselves that their favorite found family is still together alive and happy

•Bad Batch fandom: simping over several identical men simply because they have the ability to take care of a child

•The Mandalorian fandom: obsessive fan girls and their fathers

•Sequels fandom: fighting for their lives and losing big time

•Legends fandom: mourning, but that doesn’t stop them from going “um, actually!” in every comment section (jk love you guys the legends fandom seems so interesting)

imagine you’ve spent the past sixteen years as your beloved shifu’s only disciple. and you’ve trained hard and been wiser than your years and made sure to cover for your shifu when his hot temper gets the better of him, and you think you have a pretty good thing going, until he finds a kid with trauma and bad vibes, a real straightforward bad choice except for his off-the-charts aptitude, and your shifu decides he NEEDS this kid as a disciple. and as you’re reconciling yourself to the idea of a new shidi, and this specific kid as your shidi, your shifu goes to the sect elders for the thumbs up to formalize the master-disciple relationship, and they tell him no, we don’t want him in our sect due to the trauma and the bad vibes and the fact that he’s way too old. and your shifu’s temper gets the better of him again, and he swears that he will teach the kid no matter what they say, and then just days later he dies. it’s horrible, it’s gruesome, it’s everything you ever feared and tried to protect him from. and as his body spasms in your arms, the only things he has to say are about this kid. teach him, your shifu says. we never formalized the relationship, so you take him as your disciple. and you’re not even twenty. what then
