I know this is very trust me but just saw someone say on the Polin subreddit say that Penelope/ Nicola has 7 looks for season 4. Which is interesting. Nothing on Luke, but other comments say he basically said he was disconnected from the new cast. I don’t think they’ll be in much tbh, which is expected.

It seems he is filming a lot but yeah, I don't think they'll be in much! Especially with Colin I don't have hopes at all! If so many of his scenes got cut in his own season and in the episode named after him, he was barely in it, I don't think they'll show much of him in another season! I have zero trust!

I'll be delighted, though if I'm wrong!

Some of y'all only like Polin when Penelope is an unfeeling girlboss and Colin is a desperate puppy dog chasing after her and it SHOWS.

Some of y'all resent so much that Penelope loves him. You hate the fact that she's doodled 'Ms. Colin Bridgerton' in her diary with love hearts all around them. You hate her tenderness for him. You hate how easily she forgives him. You drool and hunger for her anger, her fury, her grudges, her distance. You say so often how he 'doesn't deserve her' or 'she should have married blah blah blah instead'. You diminish her adoration for him at every turn, as if it is in some way shameful for her to love him. You call her desperate for looking for him in any room she's in, for immediately folding to his apology, for asking him to kiss her.

Some of you hate it. You hate it so bad. That she loves him so deeply. You hate how much she trusts him and is interested in his interests. You hate that she wrote him all those letters, that she constantly wants to talk to him. You resent the sweetness she shows him, the warmth she reserves for him. You sneer at how he brings out her girlish glee and giddiness. You recoil at how she finds more confidence because she's most comfortable with him. You despise her yearning, her crush, her gazing out the window daydreaming of him. You can't stand the fact that she wishes on falling stars and dandelion seeds for him. You hate that she's a romantic. You especially hate that she's a romantic for HIM.

Hell, you even vehemently insist that her ruining Marina was an act of selflessness and altruism just to help her friend, when very much a large part of it was BECAUSE SHE LOVES HIM and wants to have a love story with him. Fuck that 'she would have stood by and let him marry someone else' nonsense. No the fuck she wouldn't. GOD FORBID she not be a perfect angel who does everything away from her feelings for him. God forbid that be a flawed act of love on her part. God forbid she was jealous because SHE wanted him. God forbid Colin is wanted and Penelope is found wanting.

Why are some of y'all like this? What is the appeal of a love story where both parties aren't completely head over heels for each other? Polin is beautiful because they're two sensitive souls who come together to understand one another and love each other. They are one another's safe place.

Why does fervently, assuredly, loudly only apply when Colin does it? Why do some of y'all cringe so badly away from a Penelope who is in love and isn't just the one being loved on?

I completely forgot about the one year anniversary of season 3! I'll make a polin gifset but I'll probably publish it tomorrow because it's almost 1am and I haven't even started yet! haha

For real though, can Luke’s team do a better job at sorting out the weirdos because I am sick of him getting death threats, and being called a PR disaster every time he attends an event with his girlfriend.

I don't know if it's worth all the hassle. There are always going to be trolls, sadly! You block one and ten other come! What we can hope for is that with future projects, new fans come and the trolls won't be as loud as they are now!

But yeah, I'm sick of it too! From my perspective, it's really sweet that he takes her to these events and speaks volume for his character! I wish more people could see that!

I’m so torn between being happy that Bridgerton has been renewed for season 5 and 6, but also annoyed that if Luke and Nicola are a part of it, I’m going to have to stick around.

I do get somewhat of a feeling that they might be done with the show soon, none of them have acknowledged the renewals which makes me think.

I have conflicted feelings as well. I'm not really a fan of the show because I only watched for Polin and on one hand I'm happy for more Polin/Colin (whatever crumbs we get but at the same time I want Luke free from that show and to be more specific, its fandom.

I think they're going to appear in future seasons, maybe a couple of scenes here and there but as long as the show wants them, they're going to be there! Luke really loves the show so I don't think he will refuse to come back if they ask him!

We can always just watch their future scenes! That's what I'm gonna do! haha

I wasn't in the fandom the last time they announced a renewal so I don't know if they tend to post something about it or not. I wouldn't give it much thought.

regarding your previous ask, (first I need to state I respect both women here) Nicola is the brand ambassador for Skims and is a long standing friend of Kim Kardashian. And Kim K is a known zionist. Why is Nicola having personal and business connections with a known Zionist acceptable but Antonia having zionist people in her life such a big reason to hate her? Literally every finger the haters point at Antonia can be pointed back to them.

Honestly? The real issue lies elsewhere and they use this as a reason to excuse their shitty behaviour towards her. Even if Antonia was the most perfect woman ever with the most perfect family, or even if it was another woman, they would still hate on her because they don't see a person, some see an obstacle and some others take their traumas out on her.

I have heard about her Mum supposedly liking fatshaming comments about Nicola, her parents being zionist, and her dancing at a MAGA affiliated church.

Is there any none biased proof of this? as it does seem to come from people with an agenda. As of yet I have yet to see definite proof, but until then, I’m rooting for them.

The poor woman gets hate for purely existing. The way they talk about her is like she's a villain on a 90s/00s telenovela! lol

There is no proof, as far as I know, about her mom liking such comments. It's just a lie, from what I've read she was liking comments that were defending her daughter and not body shaming Nicola.

About her parents, there's no proof either but even if it IS true, Antonia isn't her parents! Do the people who use this as an excuse to hate on her, agree with everything their parents say and do? Do they have the same views? I know I don't. I doubt there's a topic I can agree with my dad! 😅 My point is, we shouldn't judge people based on their parents.

About her dancing, it's true but her agency got her that job and as a young/new dancer, I doubt she could afford being picky or choose the jobs she got.

Her only crime is being Luke's girlfriend and I trust him! He wouldn't be with a shitty person for so long. People are just bitter and biased!
