Random mental image: Sky and Warriors band together to individually kidnap and burrito imprison every member of the chain one by one so they can give them a full spa day. Like, massage, hair wash and trim, snacks, all that jazz. Just... while imprisoned in a burrito of Wars' scarf and Sky's sailcloth.

Like it'll be a tough week. The chain has stopped to rest. These two seek out whoever looks the most dead inside and ambush, suddenly they're wrapped up like a burrito and slung over War's shoulder being kidnapped and forced to relax. When they return, the Linknapping victim is a sleeping or very relaxed puddle and Wild's made their favourite food because yes Wild is in on this.

Literally all of them need this. I'm thinking of Legend specifically because he's fun to use as a punching bag, because he's a bunny held together with sass, spite, love, and 20 shots of espresso.

He finishes [his meal] as Hyrule comes over to sit beside him. They share a companionable silence for a while before Hyrule asks, “So if we’re going to each other’s histories now where would you want to go? Legend frowns and realises he’s never considered it, he’s been thinking too much about his current situation to properly consider the implications for the others. “…yours,” he says finally, still obviously thinking it though. “Why mine?” “Because… because I want to see Ganon’s face if I show up again after hundreds of years and kill him for the forth time,” he grins viciously, “Imagine Hyrule, imagine, it’s not some new kid that shows up, it’s the same fucking guy as last time.” Hyrule laughs until he’s wheezing and it sets off Legend. [x]

messed around with comic framing and placing dialogue bubbles in this one... most of my composition training is in film/animation so this was pretty difficult! you don't have to think about dialogue placement when you'll have audio after all.

also shout out to the original sketches of this, they really were nothing

my favorite people to get hugs from are my dad and my older brother. i love my mom and two other brothers but there is just something so amazing about being hugged by people a lot physically bigger than you. best feeling in the world

The Great Writer Positivity Tag Game!

The rules are simple: list your top 3 most popular pieces of writing (fanfiction or original stories, you can choose whether you list them by views or likes/kudos—trad or indie books count, too!), then tell us something you and/or other people like about each one and share a little behind the scenes of writing them! Positive things about your work only, your writing is more than worth it and so are you. It's time to give yourself and your writer friends some love! I'll go first:

The Chain's Rulebook. I think people have liked the quick, snappy format that puts the humor at the forefront and hints at a lot of stories without directly telling you what happened. Plenty for people to fill in the gaps on their own! Fun fact: I started writing TCR when I needed a brain buster on a day when I had zero energy and needed something quick to get myself writing. But it wound up spawning an entire series! It's still one of my favorites because of how fun and wacky it was/is to write.

The Great Ravio Rescue. This one surprised me! But it makes sense, it was a fairly long (for my fanfics, lol) multichapter fic that finished up the first Linked Seas story arc. I love the worldbuilding I get to do with all of Linked Seas, but TGRR was unique because it laid down the worldbuilding foundation for the bad guys of the series. And I got to write a bunch of super fun cameos and throw in a bunch of foreshadowing for things that have yet to happen in the series. Fun fact: there's a quick, blink-and-you'll-miss-it comment in Chapter 8 that references a new group of characters that will be very important to the next major arc of Linked Seas. And any reference to Shards is super important, even if no one but the bad guys know what a Shard is yet. ;)

The Fastest Way to a Hero's Heart. Another one that spawned a whole series! I love writing about characters slowly learning to trust someone kind and good, so writing this was a blast for me. One of my favorite parts is that the trust is slow-growing and (from other fics in that series) not always linear. Fun fact: This one may have another chapter added at some point! I want to write something about Wild learning how to cook for fairies (Hyrule), but idk if I'll make it an extra chapter for this fic or write a completely new fic for the series. We'll see!
