hello everyone!! was just wondering how many of you would be interested if i opened up my commissions? it would only probably be for maybe 2 (probably 1) at a time (since my job is very, very overwhelming atm) and it would mostly be for gif icons! however i love making larger packs, so the quantities would be pretty large at a reasonable price! as far as i'm thinking, i would do private packs without an extra charge and would only post something saying i was finished with it is all! please feel free to let me know and i'll get started on working on some pricing!

UPDATE!

hello everyone! i was just stopping in to do a small update on my madelyn cline gif packs! i really love everyone for being so kind and the love towards them! however, i feel like as i’ve grown as a gif maker, they’re no longer something i’m proud of. i feel like they’re just- there. so in all this, i’ll be removing them entirely from my blog in order to completely remake them! i will also be doing season two, however this will take a while considering i have work and a personal life. i just want to put out the highest quality gifs i can, and i know this is no longer those! <3

Hi. I ope your having an amazing day and I was wondering how you make your gif icons. I have been loving them.

hi! my day has been okay, how’s yours??? and thank you??? i’m????? honestly the process has been an extreme learning curve from using ezgif on my old laptop to finally getting photoshop! but to answer your question!

i use the highest quality download i can find, typically 720p-1080p! to sort/cap my gifs i use avidemux_2.7.4 (though they have newer versions!) i usually try to get as close to the scene as possible, though if i can’t i will just cut it down in the frames in photoshop! then i mess around with the cropping, sometimes this takes a few tries. then i run this action by oliviaholt and boom! gif made! then i overlay the psd and whatever other psds i’m using at the moment and i’m done! i can try to find a link to the psd i use, but i can’t quite remember what it is lmao.

this is so poorly explained, but that’s it!! i could make a video/picture tut if anyone is interested (if i figure out how)! but hopefully that helped a bit!!

as requested by an anon, under the cut you will find a masterlist of tumblrs who offer content for us within the indie community or who i reblog from frequently/whose content i’ve found helpful. not everyone on this list is part of the indie community but their resources have been helpful. unfortunately i was unable to go down the list and tag what each blog specializes in because there are so many, but they all either offer rph, gif icons, themes, graphics, psds, tutorials, etc for all of us within the community. definitely think if you’re not following them, you should to continue to support their work - especially now that tumblr has screwed the tags up.
