I probably have some personal confirmation bias, but the passing of modders like Victor Andrade have shown me that a lot of popular script mod frameworks in TS4 are maintained by a very particular, talented core group of scripters who, if they were to disappear, would leave giant shoes that would be challenging to fill, at best.

There are simply not enough people interested in scripting compared to people interested in 3D modeling and texturing for CCs, and that's easily understandable. Scripting is not something everyone can do, and of those who can script, there are even fewer who have the skills and enough time to not only write good scripts, but maintain and publish them regularly.

Either way, I still wish more people were into scripting. Roughly a decade of playing this silly-ass game, and I've sadly had to shelve a lot of great script mods simply because the creator hasn't been around for one reason or another (not that I mean to complain - this crap is free, and life happens), and not enough folks have the means or knowledge to build upon the existing source.

What sucks is - I've fixed some of these myself! But re-publishing is a daunting and potentially complicated task. I don't want to re-publish someone else's work that they don't want re-published, but gosh darn it, the fix was so easy! I just want everyone else to be happy! Not to mention, there's everything else involved with maintaining source code, and I do enough of that on my own. Perhaps I should get better-connected with the folks deeper in the TS4 source control world...

Birds (Part 1)

Today I present you my first CC pack for The Sims 4 Life and Death

I startet with 5 birds:

I used the original wood and added 3 more colors: black, white and transparent.

The Idea of the transparent texture and bb.moveobjects was that you can placed the animals in other postions.
