Keep the Fight for Teriah Going!

Since July when the news first broke that Cait Fairbanks had been dropped from contract on The Young and the Restless, the situation for Teriah and Tessa has only gotten worse. The fears of their representation being diminished have largely come to fruition.

However, in recent weeks Cait has been seen filming many times leading to the assumption that Teriah will make holiday appearances. Also, a new character has been casted which has led to the rumor that Tessa will possibly have a storyline approaching. This is all fantastic news, but it is up to us to keep this momentum going to truly turn the tides around.

What can we do?:

Watch episodes of The Young and the Restless which feature Teriah/Tessa/Mariah live as they come out, same day DVR playback, or on the CBS app. (This will help boost ratings and show there is a demand for the representation).

It is important for CBS and the showrunners to know that Teriah has a large fanbase and that they are a popular couple when material is given to them. While this seems to be a step in the right ditection of gaining some of the show's LGBTQ representation back it is on us, the fans, to continue the momentum. Speaking up and making our voices heard once again could mean the difference between getting future material or the couple continuing to be shelved.
