a quick click and a swipe: screen dark even in the shadow of the building.  it’s a wonder, that he can see anything at all —— that the figure in the footage playing silently on his phone, camera feed that wasn’t live but was hardly old by this point, was even somewhat recognizable.  shades are pushed back up to the bridge of his nose, and he tries not to look as sorry as he feels as he briefly abandons the more than interesting and newfound evidence, and opts for something else.

there’s probably a rulebook somewhere, sitting in some old person’s basement, that warns against contacting somebody responsible for a not-very-good-thing.  unfortunately, he’s never been that good at listening, and he’s not about to pass up the chance to give some less-than-poor soul a heart attack.

u know as funny as juice can be w his constant shitposting and all, it kinda makes me upset that no one is addressing the fact that a satellite has an intense fear of isolation and uses humor to cope with the fact that it was alone, drifting through space with nothing but itself for company, for thousands of years, and probably has extreme anxiety issues that it’s scared to address and bring up / talk about
