Please Note that Federal law of Canada and “Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada” requires that Immigration Practitioners in Canada or Abroad, who provide Canadian Immigration Advice, Canadian Immigration Services, Representation on Canadian Immigration matters or  conduct business on the behalf of clients for a Fee or other consideration, must be a member in good standing, registered with Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and Accredited as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). Exceptions are members in good standing of Provincial or Territorial Law societies of Canada or the Chambre des notaires du Québec.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will not deal with non-authorized Immigration representatives. As a result of hiring non-authorized Immigration representative, your application may be significantly delayed, returned or even rejected. Whenever you hire a representative to communicate with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on your behalf, check his/ her credentials by asking him/ her to provide you with his/ her membership number and verify it with the relevant body about his/ her good standing. If the agency, company or that you are about to hire does not provide with this number, there is high possibility that they are un-authorized representatives and you put yourself at a risk of being scammed.

Members of Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) are recognized by the Canadian Government under the Federal Law and “Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada” as Authorized Representatives. They are Authorized to provide Legal Immigration Advice, Immigration Services, Legal Representation on Immigration matters and to conduct business on the behalf of clients for a Fee or other consideration. They are Authorized to Legally Represent Clients on Immigration mattersand to conduct business on their behalf with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canadian Embassies, Consulate General of Canada, Immigration & Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) and the Canada Boarder Services Agency (CBSA)Members of Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) have thorough knowledge of Canadian Immigration Law, Canadian Immigration Procedures and Practices. They are required to keep themselves updated with latest Canadian Immigration changes, rules and procedures.
