The Eight of Wands, inked.
I ain't a tattoo guy, but I don’t mind folks getting my art inked! I just ask that anyone who wants to get it done considers picking something up from my online shop or purchasing a tat flash to help let me keep making my art! Thank you all so much for your support! ❤️

Once they got married did R&S kept living in Grimmauld Place or they move somewhere else?
They did!! They split their time between Hogsmeade/Hogwarts and Grimmauld Place.
They had their apartment at Hogwarts, of course, where they lived during the week/while classes were in session. They also had a little cottage in Hogsmeade where they could have a bit of weekend privacy when Sirius wasn’t working in the hospital wing (he and Pomfrey convinced the school governors to hire more than two people to provide medical care for a boarding school filled with hundreds of children doing dangerous things, not to mention faculty and freaking ghosts).
During the summer and extended school holidays, like Christmas, they were at Grimmauld Place! This was for a couple reasons. First, they liked being in London, closer to their friends and family and lots of things to do. Hogsmeade is cute but it’s really far away and boring as hell. Plus Grimmauld is big and the perfect place to host parties, potluck night, out of town guests, etc.
They’d fully renovated Grimmauld Place over the years, emptied it of all the dark shit, and truly changed the vibes of the place. I really believe that places where terrible things happened have psychic wounds, but sometimes, those wounds can be healed with acknowledgment, work, and love. That’s what they did. They cleared the vibes, made it a place where Order members lived and got back on their feet after the war, a place where friends gathered and laughed. It’s the place where Remus and Sirius fell in love. They made a beautiful summer garden, threw open the windows, cleared the dark and cobwebs, and filled it with fresh air, sunlight, and love. They reclaimed it and gave it a new life.
Grimmauld was also imbued with ancient, Black family magic which was damned powerful and not all bad. It took Sirius a while to accept that, but once he did, the house started responding to him and Remus (gold thread on the tapestry, remember?) and the vibes were really changed. They literally bent the house and its magic to their will, like a plant that follows the arc of the sun.
Sirius couldn’t believe he was happy at Grimmauld Place, but he was. His parents wouldn’t recognize it. And isn’t that the very best revenge?
