This week in class we discussed a lot of different topics this week in class ranging from connection between technology and the connection between human experience. Also the topic I decided to talk about is scientific looking some of the reading states that all visual communication, even supposedly objective imagery from the scientific world, resides within a complex web of social and cultural relationships. This claim requires our attention because we seek "truth" from the world of science. However, the most apparently objective means to generate visual images, the camera, was frequently used in the nineteenth century scientists to affirm ideologies of race and gender.

Hello Class, for this assignment I used imgflip to create the two button meme. Which shows a man in great destress over his decision over the two big red buttons in front of him. I felt like this aligned perfectly with the concept of high vs. low culture. To begin I will define low and high culture in my own words, High culture usually refers to culture primary the arts and deeper thought into interpreting art. As oppose to low culture which primarily encompasses magazine, pop music, and television. This meme displays the divide between the two and resembles as as a mass society fir which group we categorize ourselves in.
