i started reading maze runner recently and before i had i was reading fics because i’ve only watched the first movie so far, and i was like DAMN they love reusing this made up slang in these fics!! and then i started reading the actual books and they genuinely repeat that shit every ten seconds. fic writers so strong for having to add shank and klunk a million and a half times tbh
