in every society there is an unspoken sentiment that becomes widespread, even though it is unacknowledged and unobserved, and as its popularity increases, it swells like an invisible wave until it becomes the dominant force of the era. it's not something that is easy to recognize or describe while it's happening, though you may have a vague sense of it. it is usually recognized, examined, and defined about two decades after its peak has passed.

Hey there, I came across your blog when I saw someone reblogged a piece of art that was very similar to an image I’ve been searching for for years. I found your angelfire tag, and scrolled until I found the image I’ve been trying to find! So now I must ask because this tag you have is very specific, and full of art in the same style of this picture. Did you make all the art in that tag? I’ve been trying to find the artist, and all of the pictures you’ve tagged in angelfire are the same style. I’m asking purely because this has been tormenting me for years!
yes, i tagged all my art that i made #angelfire
the earliest post with that tag is from 2012 and the latest is from 2022. i guess i had a good decade-long run 🥺
