Pushing down his initial instinct to sigh (as was his response to most situations if he was being honest), Cam reluctantly glanced up from the book he was reading to survey the room with an unimpressed gaze. Nothing looked out of place; no terrifying rodents seemed to be raining fire upon the innocent campers. Turning back to the other male, he raised a brow. "I’ll try to keep my hysteria in check,” he replied dryly. “Besides, I can almost guarantee it’s more afraid of you than you are of it.”

“ no one panic but there is a mouse and it’s name is not mickey. now, i don’t know where this mouse went off to but it’s here. somewhere… watching us. waiting. ” he glanced around the room with an eyebrow raised. everywhere was the enemy.

a super dependable guy actually. responsible, level headed, excellent leadership skills. always strives to make the rational decision 

that being said - he became a leader out of a sense of purpose and duty. aside from that he has no interest in being in charge or even socializing in general. he may be good leading and making decisions but he doesnt necessarily like it

more of a brooding grouchy hades kid then an aggressive or conniving one tbh. before they meet him people always seem to think he’ll be some kind of mafia boss or motorcycle gang member and he’s just like wtf? no?

definitely an introvert. you can usually find him alone or curled up with a book somewhere; will probably do his best to be unapproachable and ward off any unwanted attention. commands a kind of quiet and stoic sort of respect. standoffish af, has a solid resting bitch face down. 3000% done with everyone every moment of the day. he’s not mean tho, he just wants to be left alone (until shit goes down and he sucks it up and takes charge)

but lowkey has 0 FUCKIN SOCIAL SKILLS? lmao if you actually manage to corner him into conversation he’d probably get flustered in like 0.2 seconds. he’s just kind of awkwardly stiff and uptight and just??? a total dork. the bitch face is totally all posturing. he’s just not good with people man and has 0 interest in learning how to be good with people so thats why he avoids them as much as possible. he’s all bark and no bite. giving orders and making plans? cool no probs. making small talk? literally his worst nightmare  

a life as a child of the big three - especially hades - and all the shit he’s seen and done has left him kind of cynical? or at least resigned and maybe a little pessimistic

as grumpy as he is, he’s still got your back man without a doubt. very compassionate - which people always seem to find surprising given his parent - and has this weird sort of self imposed duty to protect others? kind of a bleeding heart under all that grouch? if you asked him for a favor he’d be all “ugh fine okay whatever blah blah blah i’m so put upon” but help you without even a second of hesitation. probably watches cat videos and cries

certified dork™ would rather sit around and read comics all day then kick ass in the arena (not that he isnt good at it). find him curled up in a giant sweater rereading tolkien for the umpteenth time, not taking out hits on people or commanding armies of the dead or whatever else it is people think he does lmao

unassuming; even at a whopping 6′2″ he goes unnoticed a lot of the time if he isnt actively trying to gain attention

soft spoken in tone but definitely not in words or backbone. he’s quiet yes but firm and confident in what he says (the boi definitely thinks before he speaks)

actually needs reading glasses but doesnt fucking wear them ever bc they take his look from kind of unapproachable and aloof straight to the fluffiest least intimidating dork ever lmao
