Roberto Granados was just 13 years old when he began studying at Cal State East Bay. And that hardly begins to tell his story.
Now 17, Granados is considered a virtuoso in classical and flamenco guitar and ukulele. Despite still being just a teenager, he’s met and played for President Barack Obama, performed as the opening act to Jennifer Hudson and Earth, Wind & Fire, given a Ted Talk, performed on National Public Radio’s “From the Top” and performed at the 36th Emmy Awards.
Read more about his remarkable story and why he chose Cal State East Bay.
