Guitar Ear-O Headphones by Carina Ostermayer
A lot of produced electronic guitars never get the possibility to play music or sound. Because of some little mistakes they get sorted out right after production.
GUITAR EAR-O is a new way for old instruments to live a life in a different shape, but with keeping the same function: to sound and to play music.

I feel the need to preface this article with a little further explanation than usual. Its not often that a product has such a deep emotional effect, but the inspiration for this concept is downright uplifting and motivating. Everyone is used to the concept of looking at a watch and knowing how to decipher the hands and numbers to tell time, right? Well the Bradley advocates a seemingly ignored population, while at the same time solving the needs of a wider audience.
The Bradley is a watch, but not just any traditional archetype of a watch. With the Bradley you can tell the time without even looking at the watch face; all you need is the the sense of touch and you are ready interact with the product. The watch utilizes two metal bearings that rotate around the watch face, similar to the hands of a watch, along with two metal beads to display the time. Simply find the bead for the hour “hand” and the other bead for the minute “hand” and you can figure out the time without even glancing at the timepiece.

Light ‘O’ (2013) by 220+design
Materials: concrete, birch plywood, rubber Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 25cm
"A solution characterized by a simple and essential design, a structure that mixes warm and cold materials, composed of a lampshade made of concrete with exposed cable supported by a base in birch plywood. Two distinct elements especially designed to enhance the mobility and functionality, allowing, through three possibilities of position, to manage the lighting, going from a reflected light to a direct light, or left as a fascinating atmosphere lamp."

Candy Chang - Before I Die (2011-ongoing)
It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget what really matters to you. After Artist Candy Chang lost someone she loved very much, she thought about death a lot. The project is helped clarify her life, the people she wants to be with, and the things she wants to do, but she struggled to maintain perspective. She wondered if other people felt the same way. So with help from old and new friends, she painted the side of an abandoned house in her neighborhood in New Orleans with chalkboard paint and stenciled it with a grid of the sentence “Before I die I want to _______.” Anyone walking by could pick up a piece of chalk, reflect on their lives, and share their personal aspirations in public space.
This participatory public art project is expanding to countries around the world, including Kazakhstan, Mexico, Italy, Australia, Portugal, Argentina, and beyond! Visit the project website beforeidie.cc for more info and watch artist’s TED talk about the project. Follow the Before I Die project on Twitter and Facebook.
