you don’t even remember how it started. maybe it was how he stayed too long after everyone left, or the way he sat on the edge of your bed like he belonged there; pretending he wasn’t watching you as you were watching him.

maybe it was the heavy silence between you, or how your fingers brushed his as you handed him a glass of water.

either way, you blinked and the next second his lips were on yours, his body pressed against yours.

“sunghoon” you whisper, his name falling from your mouth almost like a confession

he pulled back just enough to look at you, his eyes unfocused, his lips flushed.

“hmm?” he hums, acting like he didn’t just unravel every piece of you in one breathless kiss.

you can barely form words, all you can mumble is “we shouldn’t..”

“i know, i know” he murmurs, but his body betrays him and he leans in anyways. his forehead pressed against yours. “but i can’t stop”

so you don’t stop him, you can’t stop him. your lips find his once again, softer this time.

your heart feels like it’s going to explode, split in one piece from how he kisses you like you’re precious cargo.

his hands are everywhere and nowhere─one holding your jaw and the other covering your waist, pulling you closer and closer until there’s no room left between you and him.

you let out a sudden gasp when his teeth catch your bottom lip, and he stays still to search your face. “too much?”

“no─please don’t stop” you shake your head quickly.

he doesn’t.

he kisses you again, and again, short ones, long ones, all making you feel dizzy. his mouth moving against yours like he’s trying to memorize you.

when you shift into his lap without any thoughts, his breath hitches and his fingers tighten at your waist, moving down to rub circles on your hip.

“god..” he breaths, his voice low. “you’re gonna kill me”

you laugh breathlessly, your cheeks burning pink. “you deserve it!”

his mouth curves into a smile against your skin as he trails kisses down to your jaw, then down to your neck.

his lips are intoxicating, really.

you grip his shoulders, your nails digging into his skin as he lets out a soft sound that makes your stomach do cartwheels.

“you’re dangerous, aren’t you?” he says again, his voice muffled.

“hmm, so are you” you whisper, tugging him back up to your lips.

the kiss then again turns messy, hungrier like. both of you are chasing something that you can’t name.

his jacket somehow ends up on the floor, then his shirt. both of you are too caught up in each other to even care where anything lands or goes.

your room really feels like an entire different world now─only four walls holding up a huge secret.

he pulls away from you slightly, out of breath. “no one has to know, right?”

“right..” you whisper, though your chest in aching at the way he says it.

but when he finally kisses you again, slow and unhurried this time, you forget everything.

letting yourself believe this moment is enough.

later on, when you’re tangled together, the silence comforting you this time. his arm across your waist, and your fingers still mindlessly playing with his hair, you realize that you finally don’t care if this only lasts tonight.

because tonight, his hands are in your hair, his clothes are in your room, and his lips are still against your skin.

maybe that’s enough for you.
