‘Slut’ is attacking women for their right to say yes. ‘Friend Zone’ is attacking women for their right to say no.

Momma Tried (US)
Cover MommaTried magazine: "a conceptual nudie mag exhibiting art, writing, subversive humor, and non-heteronormative perspectives on sexuality. Published bi-annually in New Orleans, Momma Tried is a print-only publication that seeks to explore the tropes, manipulations, and possibilities of this medium." Editor Theodora Eliezer explains a bit: Our vision for Momma Tried is to publish works by unknown, emerging, and established artists and writers in a context that exists almost entirely independent from the internet. We’re interested in the notion that experiences of art and writing become more intimate and memorable in tangible formats, so through Momma Tried we’re experimenting with creating a magazine that exists exclusively within its physical, printed form. Our aim is to elevate the experiences readers have of our content, and to fully embrace the creative potential of working in a medium that has been declared “dead.”
