Callie rolled onto her back as Min-Ji’s delicate fingers moved the crotch of her panties aside, her knee pulling up and dropping to the side as she looked deep into the eyes of the woman at her side, eager to give her the best access that she could. Her hand fell from Min-Ji’s own cunt, too wrapped up in her own pleasure to continue what had become stunted, jolty movements. She would make Min-Ji come, she was sure of it, but for now she just wanted to focus on the feeling of the fae’s fingers against her own slick, wet, bare skin. An eager whine fell from her, brow furrowing as her slim fingertips rubbed slowly over her throbbing clit, and then suddenly, so casually and so deftly, Min-Ji slid her fingers into Callie’s heat, eliciting a desperate moan as the woman’s hips pushed up slightly to meet the movements.
“Fuck- fuck- Min-Ji- baby, baby girl, please,” she panted softly, hips rocking slightly as Min-Ji’s fingers began to slide in and out of her, over her clit and then back inside her once more, fingertips pressing firmly against her spongy g-spot and then back out, over and over again. “You feel- it feels- please don’t stop,” she whined, chest now flushed a deep pink, hand bunched in Min-Ji’s hair at the base of her neck to stop it from falling silkily into her own face. “I’m- I’m close,” she admitted, nipples hard pink buds and skin covered in goose-bumps, orgasm building steadily in the bit of her stomach. “Kiss me?”

“Right, good. Uber,” Callie nodded, relieved that Ophelia wasn’t pushing back against the suggestion, hoping that she would drop any notion of trying to pay her back. The brunette pulled her phone from her pocket and ordered the Uber, remembering roughly where she needed to drop Ophelia off to before heading onto Min-Ji. She almost made it a two-stop journey but then thought better of it - perhaps the blonde would need some help getting inside, and so Callie decided she’d drop her first before booking a second Uber to Min-Ji’s.
Once the car was ordered she turned her attention back to the drunken woman, unable to stop a bemused expression from crinkling her features as she watched her hop and kick unsteadily, trying to rid herself of her shoes. “Here- hold on-“ Callie offered, kneeling down once more to help take the shoes off, tugging at them gently until Ophelia was in bare feet. “Don’t walk too far - there’s broken glass everywhere,” she instructed, straightening up as their car came into view. “There- that’s the one. In you get,” she hummed, opening the passenger door and nodding her head in the direction of the backseat, hoping Ophelia would slide in without protest.
Tumblr media
the snapped heel caused ophelia to switch between standing on the now flat shoe and the taller one, if anything causing the blonde to be more unstable on her feet than previously. it was mildly amusing to her, and therefore only caused her to half pay attention to what callie was saying to her. something about not needing to do anything in return because - happy knowing she'd got home safe? that sounded fake to ophelia. instead, she didn't question it, thinking that something might come later instead.
she hiccupped, staring at the woman she knew with a hazy expression. "ubers good," was her eventual reply, suddenly and intensely obsessed with trying to kick her shoes off now they were broken to discard of them.

It was hard for Callie to stay focused when Min-Ji was nuzzling closer and closer to her, the scent of her strawberry shampoo and the soft vanilla her skin always seemed to smell of filling Callie’s nostrils, making her feel almost dizzy with lust and love. It was hard for the pair to keep their hands to themselves, and Callie felt giddy, deliriously in love, so obsessed with her girlfriend that from the outside looking in it was probably sickening.
“Mm?” Callie hummed, barely processing what Min-Ji was suggesting as her eyes flitted down to Min-Ji’s perfectly plump, soft lips. God, she was practically begging to be kissed. But then the agent began to speak and Callie forced herself to listen, pressing a soft kiss to Min-Ji’s shoulder and cheek as she leant into her. The bigger the apartment, the more expensive it would be become, and anxiety rushed through Callie suddenly. She could barely afford the place they were looking at currently - a five room place would be out of her budget completely, and she didn’t want Min-Ji to have to cover more than her half.
Tumblr media
Tilting her head in against Min-Ji’s cheek, her lips ghosted over the shell of her ear. “My darling- I’m so sorry but I- I don’t know if I could afford anything bigger than this,” she whispered embarrassedly, cheeks flushing pink as she hoped and praying the agent couldn’t hear what she was saying. She wanted to be able to give Min-Ji everything she deserved, everything she wanted, but this? It simply wouldn’t be possible. Not while she was at college.
The leasing agent hadn't lost their customer service smile at all despite the new requests and responded smoothly, "Unfortunately, these apartments only go up to three bedrooms but the closets in each room are spacious."
Min-Ji remained unconvinced and only nuzzled in closer to Callie, speaking now mostly directly to her, "Oh but my darling I already have them separate because they don't fit together, I don't think I can combine them. Maybe then do you think we should look for somewhere with five rooms?"
The leasing agent was quick to jump in on the comment, not wanting to lose their business, "I have an exclusive loft apartment in Downtown if you two ladies would be interested in viewing it that may be exactly what you're looking for. It is situated above a market and bistro and used to be two separate apartments but was recently renovated and walls removed to convert it into a larger space. It has four bedrooms but they are quite large and two of the bedrooms have walk in closets."
Tumblr media
Min-Ji cooed with interest as she leaned her cheek against Callie's shoulder, her arms wrapping around the other fae's middle, "That sounds lovely. We should check it out."

STARTER: Callie & Celeste LOCATION: Coffee Shop STATUS: CLOSED
Now that Callie had discovered her fae identity and had had some more time to really process what this might mean for her, she was ready to find out some more. Her father had been entirely unhelpful in her vague attempts at trying to get information about her mother, and so after a bit of research and digging she had been put in touch with a slightly older woman - Celeste Carlisle. Apparently Celeste was a fixture of the fae community, and was known for supporting younger fae and fae that were disconnected from the realm in getting back in touch with their roots. She seemed like the perfect person to discuss her newfound identity with.
Tumblr media
Callie reached out via text, and the pair arranged to meet at a local coffee shop. So there Callie was, hands cradling a cup of coffee as she tapped her foot nervously, eyes darting constantly up at the door as she waited for Celeste to arrive.

As Layne moved to retrieve her wedding binder, Callie's eyes remained fixed on the little bundle she held in her arms, completely transfixed by her tiny features, the little rise and fall of her chest. She was so precious, so perfect, so untouched by the world, and it made Callie feel almost emotional. One of her closest friends had made a whole new person! Callie couldn't help but feel a pang of desire - she too wanted to be a mother. It was something she had dreamed of since she was a little girl, and once she had been engaged to Kemper the dream had felt much more like it could've become reality. But of course, it had not, and so much had changed in those few years. She was happier than she ever had been with Min-Ji, but it made her wonder - did her partner have the same dreams of parenthood that she did? Perhaps it was a conversation they should have.
It took all of Callie's efforts to pull her gaze up from Addie to look over at the binder, eyes lighting up as she took in the images Layne had pulled together. "Yes! I definitely can. I love the colour scheme you've got going... oooh, the leaves! I actually have a calligraphy pen and some metallic inks, I've never tried writing on a leaf before but I could give that a go," she nodded enthusiastically. "What kind of signage will you need do you think?"

Callie tried to cast her mind back to that night when she had first met Ophelia - had she been blushing? Perhaps. It had been very early days in her relationship with Min-Ji, and Callie was still getting used to the fact that she was queer. Ophelia was stunningly beautiful, had been back then and still was now, even though her mascara was flaking and her lipstick was a little smudged. But Callie wasn't sure if that was entirely true, frowning slightly as she struggled to remember. Oh well. It didn't really matter, as long as Ophelia didn't think Callie was hitting on her now.
"Yeah, we can get an Uber. If I remember correctly your place is reasonably close to my girlfriend's anyway, and that's where I'm headed," the fae explained, casting a quick glance down at Matilda's carry-case, relieved to see that the little puppy was curled up and fast asleep, oblivious to the chaos taking place around her. Whatever Callie had expected Ophelia to say next, that was not it, and she shook her head quickly, violently almost in response. "No, god no, I don't- I don't need anything in return, especially not that," she smiled timidly, reaching out to grab at Ophelia as her heel gave way. "No need to pay me back. I'll be happy just knowing you get home safe yeah?" she reassured the blonde, pulling her phone from her pocket to load the Uber app.
Tumblr media
"oh! yeah! you couldn't stop blushingggg," ophelia teased her on a detail that might be vastly untrue, alcohol completely warping her sense of perception and how she remembered things. maybe it hadn't been callie, maybe there had been another stranger who helped her out that had blushed the moment ophelia talked to them. it was a well known occurrence, after all the blonde was stunning. she hiccupped again and laughed at nothing in particularly, wobbling slightly on heels that made her impossibly long legs even longer.
"sure!" at the offer of another woman to help her home, ophelia was particularly receptive, believing herself to be completely safe. "a cab? i don...i don't have cash," she paused, frowning in thought about how to possibly pay for such a thing without funds. "you could pay for it and in like...exchange i could like make-out with you or do a lil dance?" ophelia offered with a less than charming smile before violently swaying to the side as one of the heels on her shoes snapped!

Tumblr media
"Thanks," she said sheepishly at Callie's comment. It still caught her off guard at times that she was now a mother and people acknowledged her as such. Another layer to the person that she was in the best of ways. However, she didn't want it to solely become her identity which was something she was figuring out daily how to master and create for herself.
Pulling up the binder filled with wedding inspiration she began to flip through and share the various concepts her and Ollie had picked out. How it was going to be a backyard wedding and the desire to keep it simple and not overly complicated like traditional weddings could get. The color scheme predominately being driven by the color blue with accents of florals and greeneries. "I'm thinking you can help with the seating chart and additional signage throughout. We were thinking pressed leaves with our guest names on it," she said showing them some inspiration. It was simple, but if done correctly could be elegant. "What do you think?"

Callie hadn't the smoothest job in asking Min-Ji to move in with her, at least not at first. She had quickly realised that a text was not going to be sufficient, but she had just been so nervous for Min-Ji's response that she couldn't bring herself to ask in person. Thankfully, she had nothing to worry about. After a romantic dinner and some kissing on her couch, she'd popped the question, Min-Ji quick to say yes. What’s more, her girlfriend was excited, wanting them to start looking for a place as soon as they could, and Callie was beyond thrilled. Since taking their relationship to the next level physically, she felt closer than ever to Min-Ji. It was scary, but it felt right, and she realised that for the first time in her life she was deeply in love.
Tumblr media
Gesturing for Min-Ji to step through first, she followed close behind her, a hand naturally finding her back as the fae nuzzled in against Callie's cheek, making her grin proudly, so pleased she was to be with her love. "I think we need at least three... maybe four. I would really like to have somewhere to paint and draw. Do you think if we combined your streaming room and wardrobe, we could use the last one as a spare room?" Callie suggested, returning the soft kiss with one of her own. "I do really love the balcony though... and the fireplace. Do you have anything like this but just a little bit bigger?"
Location: Apartments With: @callie-everest
"This is a lovely two bedroom apartment with a private balcony and fireplace in the living room, perfect for warming up together during those colder winter nights," the leasing agent described as she opened up the front door of the apartment and welcomed Min-Ji and Callie inside. It was easier moving about inside of buildings now that Min-Ji could conceal her wings once more with her fae glamours so she easily breezed through the open door to look eagerly at the open living and dining room, there was little kitchen nook situated on the left hand side of the room and a small coat closet directly next to the front door which she of course immediately opened to look inside even though she knew it would be empty.
Tumblr media
"Is two bedrooms enough? I don't think it is," Min-Ji said out loud thoughtfully, finding her way back toward Callie's side where she took hold of her arm and nuzzled her nose into the soft pink cheek of the other woman, "I think we need three or four bedrooms. I need a streaming room and that takes up one whole bedroom," she kissed Callie softly on the cheek she'd just been nuzzling, "and I have so much clothes. That needs another bedroom at least."

Ophelia’s full weight leaned in against Callie and the fae was quick to set down the little carrier containing her puppy, shuffling it between her feet so that Matilda was safe and sound and couldn’t be snatched away easily by someone passing. Once sure that Matilda was secure Callie turned her attention back to the drunk human, hands holding her steady as she met her gaze as best she could, the blonde’s eyes glazed over from the large amounts of alcohol she must’ve consumed.
“Callie, yeah. Ophelia right? I- I helped you that one time it was raining with your groceries…” Callie murmured, realising that it could be slightly embarrassing for the human to be helped not once but twice by the same person she did not really know. “Well- I’ve been to your place before, so… does that help?” Callie smiled warmly at the woman, still holding her upright. “I think you’d be safer in a cab with me than out here on the street sweetheart.”
Tumblr media
there was an arm around her waist, holding up ophelia who nearly fell forwards again after vomiting all over the strangers shoes. ophelia hiccupped, spit dribbling down from the corner of her mouth as her unsteady gaze tried to focus on the woman keeping her upright at the moment. there was the faintest spark of recognition in her gaze, the blonde knowing her from somewhere but not being able to place where. maybe she came in the club? so many did, their faces blurred into one. thinking about work soured ophelia's face, nose wrinkling up.
"callie? callie. ca-llie," the blonde tried the name a few times on her tongue, stumbling forwards into her again on heels that were clearly making her a liability. "i know you," ophelia pointed out yet was unable to piece together anymore.
Tumblr media
"should i tell you that? stranger danger," each 's' was dragged out, obnoxiously so.

The curfew was a nuisance - a conclusion Duncan had come to very quickly upon his return. He wondered if perhaps the governing body of the town had not changed faces much in these past fifty years while he’d been gone. It was possible, considering most species found here were considerably more long-lived than humans. Perhaps if he reached out and had a chat with those whom he knew before, he could convince them to a change of heart and a rethink of this unnecessary safety measure. After all, it was a cruel transgression to steal the night from a vampire. Even under deep shade of a thick-leaved oak tree and a sun charm ring above an old simple golden wedding band, Duncan could feel the scorching rays of sunlight licking what was exposed of his skin, gliding caressingly over the thin barrier the magic that protected him had created, threatening to be far less gentle should he simply lose the piece of jewelry or somehow damage it in a moment of carelessness.
It was such an unreliable thing to use but now very necessary because the choice was between staying awake throughout the night and remain cooped up at home or make the best of the situation and use what few hours he had until sundown to do what he otherwise would if he could have the freedom in the night. Daytime had its perks too, he could see the good side of it. The colors of a sun-lit sky were like no other perceived by his vampiric sight. It had been many a year since he took up a brush and brought it to a canvas to paint the light blues, purples and reds of a daytime sky. Doing it by memory did not do it justice.
His gaze had hardly gotten directed anywhere but upwards or the canvas for almost an hour, at lest not until a commotion nearby drew it that way. How very typical of the world designed for the living - their short time in it made them completely incapable of just staying still. They always walked, ran, hurried along, stumbled and fell, always in some rush that saved them none from the ultimate end that would befall them all - to become what the world of the living was not designed for. Although all he had was disdain for the young woman’s ungraceful stumble, there was something about her awkward fall that piqued Duncan’s interest. It had been a while since Duncan had felt a slight stir in the back of his throat which signaled a feeling he had lost more than a century ago. Prominent Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed. He was feeling… peckish. The sight of fresh blood on the woman’s knee reminded him that he too could feel hunger even though he’d taught himself not to.
Tumblr media
His blue-tipped brush was put down calmly, hands wiped on a wet cloth to remove any paint stains that had accidentally tainted porcelain white skin and then he walked over, in no rush to reach where the woman was sitting in the grass but eventually getting there. “Do you need a hand?” He already extended his, palm turned up, ready to assist the young woman into an upright position.

“You taste like…” she trailed off, pressing damp kisses over the soft curve of Min-Ji’s jaw before licking a hot, wet stripe over her neck just up to the spot below her ear, sucking a small mark to the soft skin she found there. “Strawberries… vanilla. Sweet. And- god-“ she whined softly, pressing kiss after kiss to the fae’s neck, drinking in the smell of her, the taste of her sweet skin on Callie’s tongue. She had dreamed about this for so long, had imagined her mouth just here while her own fingers had found herself beneath her covers, thinking about what might happen if Min-Ji was there with her. And now her she was, pliable under Callie’s touch, reactive to each little gesture, warm frame against her own. This was much better than any dream Callie had managed to conjure up.
“You taste intoxicating,” she mumbled against her lips, kissing her with a little more urgency now, hips rocking almost feverishly into the fae’s hand. “Yes- yes, it’s more than okay,” she breathed, her voice hoarse, her eagerness to feel more over taking her. Touching herself was one thing but being touched by another was something completely different, and she had never been touched by someone she wanted as much as this. “I don’t- I don’t have a usual I- I just- just keep touching- don’t stop, please,” she mumbled, nose nudging a little clumsily against Min-Ji’s neck as her own fingers continued their work against the fae’s own pussy, her arousal quickly seeping into the thin fabric of her underwear.
As Min-Ji found her clit Callie’s hips practically bucked forward, her hand falling from between Min-Ji’s legs as she let out a strangled whine, head tilting back expose the column of her neck, eyes closing and brow furrowing as she bit down on her lip. “There- there, please baby, please keep going- I want- under my knickers? Please?” requested softly, head tilting forward and eyes seeking Min-Ji’s own, her cheeks and chest flushed a similar tone to the fae’s own. “You’re so beautiful god- you- you’re so gorgeous.”

“Yeah. You must be proud of him. He’s a lucky guy, but you’re also a lucky gal… he seems like he’s done really well for himself,” she smiled, happy that her friend had found someone as well-suited to her as Oliver seemed to be. She hadn’t spent much time around Layne’s fiancé, but knew that Layne was deeply in love and very happy just by the way her eyes lit up when she mentioned her love.
Callie was more than excited to meet the little baby, following Layne into the cottage quietly and tentatively, not wanting to disturb the baby in case she was asleep. She had just woken up however, and so Callie watched in awe as Layne fed the little girl, eyes fixed to her dark head of hair and teeny chubby little hands. When the baby was handed over to her Callie gazed down at her with the widest eyes, cooing softly as she got her settled comfortably in Callie’s arms. “Hello you… aren’t you so very precious? Yes you are, yes you are,” she murmured, looking up at Layne with a beaming grin, delighted that Adelina seemed to have warmed to her. “She is just absolutely perfect Layne. You’ve done so well.”
Tumblr media
"Yeah. I'm glad that he was able to take that pain and disappointment turning it into a beautiful life for himself." Layne always wondered who they would have otherwise become if they hadn't supported each other as blooming teenagers when they both went through some of the hardest moments of their lives. They were both dealt some unfortunate playing cards but somehow figured to make a positive out of it. Although it did not negate the hurt that lingered and popped up every now and then, it made them who they were. "Perfect!" she smiled happy to head back to the cottage and introduce Callie to Adelina.
As they got back to the cottage, it was perfect timing as Ollie had to check in on a delivery to the shop. Layne quickly fed Addie as she had woken up from a nap before passing her off to Callie. Sitting in the backyard as it was such a beautiful day out, Ollie was kind enough to set up some iced tea and cookies for the two of them. Grabbing the wedding binder she was excited to share her ideas with them. Placing her daughter in their arms, Layne took a seat next to them. "She likes you Cal! Usually she's a bit fussy adjusting into someone's hold for a few moments," she chuckled watching as Addie grasped onto the woman's shirt, zoning back off to sleep. "Consider yourself lucky!"

Relieved to hear that she hadn’t pushed her line of questioning too far, she nodded along slowly as Layne explained the relationship between Oliver and his father. She could relate - all her life her own father had decided exactly what her life would look like. Who she could be friends with, what she would study - even who she would marry. Her relationship with Kemper had been by his design from the get go, and now that she’d had some space from it all, Callie realised that she had never wanted those things. Sure, life was scary here, hard at times, but the fae was happier than she had ever been, pursuing her art, in love with an amazing woman. Life was good, and sometimes she wished her dad could see that happiness came to people in many forms. “That’s- that must be really hard for Ollie… he’s such a lovely, kind person regardless. Some people get bitter and cold when that kind of thing happens. It’s cool that he hasn’t,” she murmured.
Tumblr media
“Ooh I would love that so much! I’m all done anyway, let’s go! I can’t wait to meet the baby,” Callie grinned, taking a final sip of her drink before standing quickly, brushing away the few crumbs that had landed on her lap from her cookie.
Squeezing Callie's hand in return, she genuinely hoped that the new fae would do whatever was best for them. Either way, Layne would support and love on her as she navigated this new journey. As the conversation shifted towards her fiancé a bit, she couldn't help but nod in appreciation at their words. "No. It's not being nosy, don't worry. You're genuinely asking," she reassured them. "From what he's told me just a lack of respect for who Ollie is and what he wanted for himself." Layne couldn't imagine now being a parent not loving her child or maybe future children for all that they were. As long as they were a good citizen of the world and treated people kindly, whoever they were or wanted to be, she'd love them through it.
"Yes!" she said clapping her hand excitedly before breaking into a bout of laughter. "If you want to replenish your drink, I can show you what I have figured out so far at the cottage. Plus, you can meet Addie finally!"

STARTER: Callie & Duncan LOCATION: The Park STATUS: CLOSED
Matilda was getting more and more confident as the days went by, and now that she had had all her first vaccines she was allowed to go outside and explore the big wide world properly. It was a complete joy watching the little puppy get outside and sniff and explore and flop about. She was exactly the most graceful little thing, stumbling about slightly without the use of one of her front legs, but it didn’t stop her in the slightest. She was the sweetest, most enthusiastic little soul, and Callie thanked her lucky stars every day that the pair had found each other.
Tumblr media
They were spending the afternoon in the park together, Matilda currently completely tuckered out from the morning’s adventures, snoozing on the picnic blanket Callie had laid out for them both while Callie painted a watercolour scene of the park in front of her. Suddenly Matilda was awake, distracted by a nearby duck, and before Callie could stop her she’d taken off in an ungraceful little gallop, leash trailing behind her. Callie scrambled to her feet, chasing after the little puppet, foot catching on some unforeseen dip in the ground and falling. She managed to get her hand on the leash, the puppy not fast enough to outrun the fae, but she had acquired a nasty graze, blood streaming down her left knee. “Fuck-“ she muttered, blinking back the tears of shock and pain that filled her eyes as she looked around a little helplessly, wondering what she should do next.

Deciding last minute that she wanted to spend the night at her girlfriend’s instead of home alone, Callie had bundled up Matilda into her little carry case and started the short walk over to Min-Ji’s apartment. She needed to rush - forever a rule followed, Callie had no desire to be out after dark. Besides, Min-Ji had explained just how horrific the attack had been at the bar she’d been at, and Callie didn’t need to see the beast in person to know that it was as dangerous as they came.
Passing by a club she’d never dare to enter, she noticed a stunning blonde woman stumbling out, heels impossibly high especially given just how drunk she clearly was. Callie paused a moment to watch her, glad she did as the woman almost fell into her, Callie’s free arm wrapping around her waist quickly to ensure she didn’t end up on the pavement. “Woah, hey-“ she exclaimed, only letting go of the woman when she was sure she had found her balance once more. “That’s okay-“ the fae began, eyes widening in horror as the blonde suddenly doubled over, a spray of liquid vomit coating Callie’s shoes. “Oh honey- okay- listen, I’m Callie, I’m going to help get you home yeah? S’not safe out here. Where do you live?”
Tumblr media
the curfew had presented a unique problem for the more evening businesses of opulence, forcing them to open in daylight hours and close as the early evening set in. some stayed open afterwards, of course, secretly for people that simply didn't want to abide, despite the threat of monsters. one of the few leaving just before the curfew was ophelia, dress short and heels high, stumbling up the steps, heavy bass following her as the doors to the club opened and closed with others filing out. many left enough time to get home, or wherever they were going - ophelia had left because she was thoroughly pissed and didn't want to go home in the dark. she tripped, nearly falling, could've broke her ankle but someone managed to stop herself from colliding with the floor by instead colliding into a person. another partygoer? a random passerby?
Tumblr media
the blonde looked at her saviour, eyes unfocused as she declared; "thankyou," before doubling over and vomiting on their shoes.

Callie had lost track of time at College, becoming completely absorbed in an intricate portrait she had been painting of Min-Ji using oil paints. She had plenty of experience with watercolours, acrylics and gouache, but oils had presented a new challenge, and she was determined to get better at them. Paint was everywhere - under her fingernails, streaked across her brow accidentally, there were even a few flecks on her constantly visible wings.
The loud rumble of her stomach had been the only thing able to stir her from her concentration, her eyes widening as she’d realised just how late it had gotten, the sun almost completely set outside. Realising she wouldn’t have the energy to cook when she got back to her apartment, she’d stopped at BJ’s for a bite, and was now devouring a cheeseburger at an unbelievable rate. She looked up as a man older than her approached her, nodding a couple times as she tried to smile through her mouthful of food, although it ended up being more like a grimace. She swallowed quickly, the food travelling almost painfully down her throat in her haste to try and clear her mouth, and she let out a soft giggle, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “Sorry- yes, of course. It gets so busy in here. Sit down, sit down. Excuse the mess, I was starving…”

lucas had decided he was going to head to the fast food joint after work, he'd not eaten much after working over time, desperate to make sure the bar looked well kept and perfect for whenever somebody showed up. fast food had always been a weakness of his, restaurants on the other hand? he'd never been a fan of them. there were far too many eyes on him at all times, or at least it felt like there was to him... at least at a fast food joint he could blend into the crowd. though he hadn't expected this place to be as busy as it was when he showed up. most of the tables were occupied but he went ahead and ordered anyway, doubling up on the burgers and the fries. there were a few positives to being a werewolf and the fast metabolism had to be at the top of his list.
he approached the table where one other person sat and hesitated, if only for a second or two. " this.. this seat taken? " before they could answer he was pulling the seat back and sitting himself down, there were few options but this felt like the better one in terms of company. he'd been in opulence a while now, it was about time he started trying to make a few friends asides from the familiar faces he saw day in, day out at the fable.
