Callie enjoys head scritches… like scratch her head and it makes her act oddly similar to when she’s stoned… (legally, of course. It’s medicinal)

she has very sensitive skin (mun has eds and so every one of my goddamn characters does too) and her cuticles are beyond fucked, always has at least one bandaid on.

similarly, short/chipped but painted nails, usually pink, black, blue, or red (she has been partial to red lately…)

again for her skin, it’s weirdly never dry on the traditional sense, like it’s constantly soft.

animal lover, specifically the weird fucked up ones though: ie Jerboas, Arabian Sand Boas, Aye-Ayes, goblin sharks, etc.

“‘Course I’m gonna stay.” Callie smiles, returning the hug and tucking his head into her shoulder, eyeing the bag she had taken from him. “Would you let me get rid of that?” She asks quietly, “I’ve seen it-” she shudders, squeezing him tighter for just a moment. “I’ve watched too many people die from shit like that, seen too many people have their loved ones taken from them. So please, Jay, lemme get rid of it.”

"So...uh..whas yer favourite ballet?" Jacyn asks callie as they sit at the end of his bed on the floor in front of the small coffee table he dragged in from the living room, sipping the tea she'd left behind.

He wants to get to know her better.

He'll admit he's glad she showed up when she did, else he was going to find a way to see her. And not the most conventional way.

“Hmmm.” She thinks for a moment, before giving him a sheepish smile. “Giselle, I think. It’s a pretty basic answer but it’s the first one I ever saw. Makes it special in a way.” Callie yawns, wrapping herself in a blanket and resting her head on the mattress behind them.

“Woah- nope!” Callie yelps, grabbing the bag as soon as it hits the blankets next to her. “Smoking is one thing but this? Absolutely not.” She doesn’t look angry with him, not in the least. It’s fear that seeps into her expression, fear of losing him to this when she’s allowed herself to care so deeply.

“Jay- Jacyn. Jacyn look at me.” Her voice is firm but still gentle as she reaches out to gently hold his face in her hands. “I need you to breathe, ok? Eyes on me. In for 4, hold for 7, out for 8.” She pushes the lighter and cigarettes away from them, doing the breathing exercise herself as an example for him. “I know you’re scared,” she murmurs softly, “but I promise you whatever it is you’re scared of doesn’t need to be taken care of at-” she glances at the clock, “4 in the morning.”
