Hai~ I’m new to the little community, I finally got over my fear of posting that side of me and I was wondering how exactly it works to run a little page? Is there things I should know? >\\

Hi! Welcome to the community 😊

Having a blog about being a Little should be fun, and theres no “wrong” or “right” way, just like there is no single “right” way to be a Little. You can post about all of the things you enjoy as a Little, anything you think is cute or funny, and the things that make you feel Little. Its all up to you 

Just a few things to keep in mind though:

- make sure to tag your blog correctly. DD/lg is a Kink so DD/lg Little blogs should be tagged as nsfw. We want to make sure that other people who haven’t consented to our kink don’t accidentally stumble onto kink content. 

- please don’t “steal” other blogger’s original posts. If you see something you like on another blog, reblog it. That way the original poster gets credit.

- try not to pay attention to any haters. Trying to argue with haters and trolls will just make you unhappy and take away from the fun of having a DD/lg Little blog. The “block” function is a good tool.

Apart from that, feel free to reach out to any of us bloggers if you have questions, we’re all happy to make new friends with other bloggers and other Littles 💕 Hope this helps!

So what now?

Like everyone else on Tumblr, this morning I woke up to the news that Tumblr will start prohibiting “adult content”. I’ve already received a few messages from followers asking me if I think this will affect DD/lg blogs, asking if it will affect my blog. 

First, my blog is staying. I started my blog with the intent to create a safe space for people in the DD/lg community, with the purpose of sharing something that I love, and with the hope that I would be able to connect with other like-minded people. I have no intention of giving that up, and while I will be backing up my content and maybe transferring it somewhere else (I’m open to suggestions if anyone knows of other platforms that would be good for this), I will still be keeping this blog and posting as often as I can. 

Second, will it affect other DD/lg blogs? Probably. From what I’ve gathered, this policy seems to be targeting sexualized nudity as the “adult content” they are trying to ban. So, I’m assuming that DD/lg blogs that post porn or nude images will probably fall under this category, but I truly have no way of knowing for sure. My blog has never had any nudity or porn, so in that sense, I guess I’m “safe” enough for Tumblr. 

And finally, this sucks. I won’t go on a rant (my Daddy already had to listen to that this morning), but I will say that its unfortunate that Tumblr has taken this stance. Tumblr allowed many communities to blossom, including a community that I am proud to be a part of, and also provided a platform for many sex-positive and kink-friendly blogs. It’s a shame those blogs will now be censored, and some even chased off (I’m thinking of Bluewildcat71, that was an awesome blog, seriously, I miss it), but all we can do is continue to post and share. Or as I had to remind myself, no time for whining, it’s time to put my big girl panties on.
