Lone Pine University has long been known for its prestige. It’s been mentioned in the same breath as Oxford University, the University of Tokyo, and Harvard University. But as of late last night, the Ivy League school now has a new blemish on its record: an eerie, cryptic set of grisly murders in the schools famed Biology Department.

Last night at around 2AM a student complained of the smell of smoke and went to investigate. What they found is enough to turn the stomach of even the most experienced of investigators.

Inside of the burned-up biology lab were the corpses of a tenured professor and his students. Each of them had been mutilated in a way that implies ritualistic torture. just popping up here to share that i figured out if you edit legacy posts on the mobile app the posts is "converted" to npf / beta compatible.

this can be helpful for those having to move threads to new posts, rather than making a whole new post you could just edit the original post through the app and xkit rewritten should not give you another warning again.

to remove double replies caused by reblogs using legacy, edit the blog and manually remove the double clicking on the x button. here is a guide on how to.

waiting on a response from support but i did make progress i think?? i don't think the support ticket i sent from here 2 weeks ago ever made it to its destination bc i did not get a confirmation email telling me they got it. 2 days ago i sent a support ticket from my personal blog explaining the situation.

i believe what happened when i got shadowbanned in the first place is: i was using a VPN for something unrelated to tumblr, i forgot to turn it off before i came back to tumblr and made a post, and my account was immediately flagged by tumblr's automated security because i was posting from an unfamiliar IP address in an unfamiliar location.

i don't know why this would result in a shadowban rather than sending an email alert about logging a new IP address and asking me to confirm if it is still me or not but this website is as always very broken so it does not really surprise me lol

ROLEPLAYING REMINDERS. --

a LOT of the time, I see a literally everyone exhausting themselves to write. they lose sleep, they turn in assignments late, or just genuinely aren’t taking care of themselves. you’re doing GREAT, but here are a few reminders that EVERY roleplayer should know ;; 

please please take a break. every few minutes after you do a few replies ( ESPECIALLY long ones dear lordy ) don’t be afraid to stop and take a break for a bit. letting your mind REST helps it not wear out so easily, so not only can you get more done, you can also not exhaust yourself !! 

water is great and you probably need some. go get yourself a glass!!

whatever is going on ooc where no one can see behind that screen, don’t ever feel bad. real life is supposed to come first no matter what. the roleplayers that genuinely understand are the ones you wanna keep close!! don’t let ANYONE make you feel bad

do not feel guilty about late replies 

seriously. don’t. 

that person that plays the same muse as you ??? they might be super duper wonderful, but so are YOU!! different portrayals are what make roleplaying unique. don’t compare yourself to others. instead, embrace the individuality!! 

and finally, remember that this is for FUN. if anything is ever stressing you out chances are you shouldn’t be doing it, so be sure not to put too much pressure on yourself. this is a HOBBY, not an OBLIGATION.
