please dont stop talking about palestine . i do not trust israel and there has been multiple ceasefires theyve completely ignored . if we do happen to see iof soldiers leave and no longer occupy palestine , they would still need to rebuild . this includes medical aid and addressing airborne diseases , finding displaced families and reuniting them , etc ... their entire infrastructure needs to be rebuilt so please do not forget about palestine and do not let the US take credit for their liberation .

It bears repeating that while a ceasefire is absolutely vital, it is only the bare minimum. We say this because we understand the cessation of this horrific violence as only the beginning of the road towards freedom and justice in Palestine.

Comparing Israeli aggressions against Gaza, even just the ones between 2008 to 2014 to 2023, though each one ended with a ceasefire agreement, each aggression was on a larger scale than the one that preceded it, each with more devastation and destruction than the one before. So a ceasefire is not the final answer to Israel's terror. A ceasefire doesn't end the occupation. A ceasefire doesn't end the apartheid. A ceasefire doesn't lift the siege. It doesn't allow Palestinians back to cultivate their lands and it doesn't hold criminals accountable.

In the words of Angela Davis: freedom is a constant struggle. We're here for the long run and we have a lot of work to do.

Folks with this whole "you're old once you hit 25" mentality are just buying into a repackaged "you need to have your life figured out by 18 and if you're not successful by 22 you're a failure" load of shit. empathy gets treated as this universally positive thing but we forget that empathy often equals pain, and pain often activates fight or flight behaviors. a lot of my most asshole moments as a person were motivated by a twinge of empathy that was too painful to engage with in that moment, so i became aggressive and mean, NOT compassionate and helpful

Please support this campaign for Gaza's children and elderly! It's spearheaded by a father in Gaza who works hard on distributing aid within his camp. Getting a supply of diapers is especially critical because they're costing $65-$75 per pack and so parents are resorting to makeshift cloth diapers that are giving their babies rashes.
