"no one lets transmascs talk about their experiences with transphobia" false.
you can complain about transphobia without anyone calling your post transmisogynist with this one easy trick: don't include transmisogyny in your post
if every time you talk about transphobia you face, you always end up:
blaming trans women
expressing a sense of categorical entitlement to sex with trans women
centering your own misogynistic resentment towards women
opposing transfeminism outright
mocking transfeminist theory and terms
denying the existence of transmisogyny
then it's not that no one "lets you" talk about transphobia. it's that when you say transmisogynistic things, other people notice and comment on the transmisogyny.
trust me, there are tons of tme trans people who have no issue with sharing our experiences with transphobia.
you've surrounded yourself in such a misogynist bubble of social life that you've forgotten blatant transmisogynistic tirades aren't going to get you instant support everywhere.
people not falling all over themselves to praise you for obvious misogyny isn't "transandrophobia" / "transmisandry" / "discrimination against transmascs." it's just what life is like outside your boys club echo chamber. get over yourselves.

Pay attention to the particulars of Mastercard's responses, because this a textbook example of how to create plausible deniability.
"Mastercard has not barred any legal transaction" is, technically, a true statement – because Mastercard is not the one processing the transactions in the first place. Mastercard does not deal directly with any merchant, and in fact typically refuses to communicate with merchants at all; there's always a payment processing service sitting in between Mastercard and the merchant, whether that's Stripe or Paypal or any of dozens of other service providers.
Consequently, there are two layers of service agreements in place: the agreement between Mastercard and the payment processing service, and the agreement between the payment processing service and the merchant. That second layer of service agreements, between the payment processing service and the merchant, is where all of these content restrictions are being imposed. Mastercard can thus truthfully claim that they aren't barring legal transactions.
Now, if you've been paying attention, you've probably already spotted the issue: if the content restrictions are being imposed upon the merchants by individual payment processing services and not by Mastercard, why do all of those payment processing services seem to have exactly the same content restrictions?
That's where the critical sleight of hand comes in: while Mastercard's own terms of service do not require payment processing services to bar transactions of particular types, their ToS does require payment processors to bar transactions which could be damaging to the Mastercard brand. What constitutes damage to the Mastercard brand is not defined; it means whatever Mastercard wants it to mean. The payment processing services are thus in a position where they can be held in breach of Mastercard's terms of service for basically any reason, which gives them a strong incentive not to test any boundaries.
And that's why Mastercard can truthfully say they have never barred any legal transaction: they're never the ones doing the blocking. The layer of payment processing services that sits between Mastercard and the merchants are enforcing those content restrictions, based on a series of unwritten handshake agreements between the payment processors and Mastercard regarding what does and does not constitute acceptable content – and because the particulars of those handshake agreements aren't in writing, Mastercard can assert that their terms of service do not compel payment processing services to bar any legal transaction and technically be telling the truth.

I am struggling to put my thoughts into words. I don't know how to focus lately on anything while so many people are starving to death in Gaza.
I am finding myself texting my family members and my friends and my local community organizing networks apologizing for disappearing, for failing to respond to messages, for forgetting to check in. I was laid off from my job a while ago, and have not received a single interview. How can I justify writing cover letters when I could be writing fundraisers? But how can I not when my wife needs me to find a source of income so that we can pay rent.
When I write about Palestine, it is the only thing that feels important in my life. But then I fear that people do not read it, and I fear they stop reading as soon as they realize I am talking about Palestine. What can I write so that you will feel my (imperfect, flawed) humanity through them, and not let go when I ask you to hold the humanity of the people of Gaza too?
Many hands make light work, but there needs to be a hell of a lot more hands here. It's heavy right now, but the more people do something, the easier it becomes for every single person trying to act. Please do not fear the weight of this. We need you.

might be semi doxxing myself but whatever. my coworker al died of a heart attack tuesday morning. he worked two jobs, he was a manager at both of them, and i know he wasn't working so much for no reason. his wife was working at her job today, i know because it neighbors ours. isn't that so unfair?! your spouse dies and you still need show up to your shift literally ONE DAY after. that's insane!! but i get it, she needs money!! she's got kids!! if you can do anything to lift their family's burden, even if it's just a share, then please 🙏 i'd really appreciate it

"I thought bombs were the worst part of war... but hunger is so much crueler."
I woke up to my little brother crying not from fear, but from the pain of hunger. No bread. No rice. Not even crumbs. I searched the house and only found half an onion. I washed it and split it between my siblings. I just watched them eat… like it was a feast.
My mom is sick and there's no medicine. Every day without food makes her worse. A neighbor just buried his daughter she died from starvation. They wrapped her in an old blanket.
This isn’t history. This is now. This is Gaza.
We are dying slowly from bombs, from hunger, from silence.

Keep in mind that the term "native" often appears in early Zionist literature, and it was always in reference to the Arab population in Palestine. Zionist intellectuals at that time always saw themselves as Europeans and were more honest about their colonial ambitions, because most of these thinkers lived during the time when the scramble for Africa was occurring, why else would Herzl seek an audience and later write a letter to Cecil Rhodes?

Not only did Itch.io delete all the nsfw games on their platform it is now denying payouts for these games under the guise of “violation of tos”
(Via daff.space on bsky)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One user has suggested to set revenue sharing to 0% to prevent Itch.io from gaining any revenue from these games or other games in the future as a form of protest.
While this may not prevent itch.io from the money they’ve already gained it will prevent them from further gaining revenue on future games purchased from them.
At this point in time it does not matter if Itch.io was pressured into this decision or not. What does matter is they blindly pulled the rug from under many indie game devs, cutting them off from a source of income and continuing to hoard the income that is due to them.
No official statement or any semblance of guilt or sorrow, just a salute emoji and a back turned onto the community that built the website.

just overheard my dad on the phone going “yeah, i’d be more than happy to buy her daughter off of you, how much would you be willing to trade her for?” and got Very Worried for a second before remembering that he manages dairy farms for a living. surely there’s gotta be a better way to word that man

If aid does not enter to Gaza Strip within the next 48 hours — especially baby formula and flour — then prepare yourselves for the largest mass death crime in history.
