I would like to hear more about your lightbender OC pretty please

hiii im glad u asked her design is still in the works but i will talk abt her! Her name is Elara and she is a very powerful Lightbender. Her timeline is also separate from my other OCs' timelines so my other OCs don't exist in her world.

Elara was always kind of a loner, even in the wynn army, and the only people who were nice to her was Aledar and Tasim. Even then, they weren't very close. Even with her memory gone Elara always felt a sense of depression ever since she woke up in the carriage. She didn't like being in the army. She never felt any comradery with anyone in there. So after Recover the Past, where she failed to regain any miniscule bit of her own memory, she would set sail to Gavel. Not to clear her head like Tasim, but because she was just. angry. angry at the failure to recover her memories, angry at the world. She hated being in the army and wanted to take control of her life, so she would go AWOL and board seaskipper's ship as a stowaway. Elara is a bit short sighed though. When she got off the ship she had no plans on where to go or what to do, so she ended up wandering into the Dark Forest. An elf came across her and took pity on her lost soul and brought her to the Light Forest. The Aldorei elves were a little hesitant on letting her in Aldorei but one of the Elders was kind and decided to let her in, providing her food and a home, and soon enough she would find herself in the community of those who worship the Light. Worshipping the light gave her a sense of purpose, and initially being a human mage put her on a pedestal. She was more dedicated than even some of the other elves so she gained the trust of the elders and learned how to harness the Light to heal. However she could not be anywhere without being under Orphion’s watch. I wrote the whole shebang around the Light to be more cultish, so when she had thoughts of leaving the community they would convince her to stay. I talked a little about it here.

Elara is the only Lari hater OC I have but she is the "I can do it better than her hater". Despite her "good" actions her personality is uh. she's pretty vindictive of Lari. So Lari's crash out is a lot more justified. At the end of RoL 5, Lari reaches out for Elara as she is dragged into the portal but Elara turns her back and enters the Nexus of Light (lobby area).

After NoL Orphion would teach her the more destructive elements of light. Light can be gentle and warm, but it can also be harsh and searing hot. Having the powers that comes with a servant of a God gave her a sense of control in her life, which is somewhat ironic. She had great power and enjoys the followers reveling her. However Orphion and Elara still have conflicting ideas. While Orphion believes both dark and light has to exist to maintain balance, Elara he believes either the Light or Dark must be eradicated and of course she chooses to kill the Dark. Elara will not let anything stop her from eradicating the darkness.

The ending in Elara's world is not a good one at all. Power doesn’t always equal control when you have no foresight on the consequences of wielding such power. In her blind pursuit of justice, light clashed against dark in the Dern Beast's own realm, causing the corruption to spread like wildfire in the overworld, as she attempts to subdue the Dern Beast. Elara has unintentionally killed thousands and scarred the earth with corruption forever.
