school has been cancelled 👍

it's been almost a day without power and my signal is absolute shit right now so i can barely use the internet but i am currently safe right now. not in an evacuation zone thankfully but i could absolutely see the eaton fire last night and a smaller, closer fire popped up early this morning so that made me very anxious. the santa ana winds last night and this morning were absolutely horrifying. in the time living here as a little kid and moving back here for school i've never experienced anything this violent. i do have things packed up and my family has a plan in the event of evacuation but for the time being i am okay and the prospects of evacuation died down since the winds are a lot calmer now. i'm also supposed to go back to school tomorrow lmfao we'll see about that
