I don't know how tumblr works lol. I'm mostly here for art. I picked a picture of Mello from Death Note as my profile picture, yet it just gave me a random one from my pictures. I'll settle with Delta from Boruto then.March 10th, 2024

My Chocho and Sarada (redesigns?) for Two Blue Vortex. I love how Chocho gives off Laila Ali “I’ll knock you out” boxer vibes, it suits her. I gave them both mesh armor and lengthened Sarada’s shorts to break up all the exposure. Sarada is leaning into her moody and rebellious phase, so I threw in a punk-ish choker and fingerless gloves.

Absolutely random but...
When inoshikacho and hima were falling and Chouchou asked them to grab on her while she did her expansion jutsu, I can't be the only one who thought about Totoro XD
I tried tho...

Discordant Memories (Part 1)
Chocho grapples with the changes in Sarada following the Omnipotence Arc.
"Sarada and I used to be best friends.
But...
....after Lord Seventh....
It was hard to talk to her. Or maybe, she couldn't talk to me about how she was feeling."

Not enough people have noticed, so…
Chocho also used Mitsuki’s Jutsu. An artist on deviant art drew Choji doing this Jutsu because he could blow out stronger gusts of air. That was awesome, and I was reminded of it with Chocho. I think the fact that Breakthrough can be used via a hand, kinda cheapens the difference between that and Gale Palm, but whatever. Was Mitsuki’s Wind Scythe not enough? So many got confused because of that.
Anyway, I think Boruto has become Mitsuki’s Dark Sun and Chocho will be his Light Sun. They even have the same color palette but Chocho mostly has white, and Boruto has black. When MitsuCho happens people are going to ask “how” and “why”. Mitsuki teaching his Jutsu to Chocho is one of those reasons, lol.

MitsuCho
I think I mentioned it briefly in one of my mitsucho talk, but now let’s do a long ass post just about it.
During the Momoshiki’s attack Mitsuki saved a little girl who had the same colour scheme as Chocho : Yellow, Orange, Pink, white. The kid he saved in the movie was totally different, so I believe it’s not a concidence they changed her design, knowing Chocho’s arc was the next one, and Mitsuki was the one “saving” Chocho as well. Please notice the little girl hairstyle as well ^^’
After they graduated from the acadamy they all changed outfit, and she started wearing her white kimono with the orange belt. So from here we add the colour white to the theory. Since later on, the use of white is going to be applied to the subject of death, and also metamorphose ( At the end of her arc, the butterfly supposed to represent Chocho’s after she matured/molted ? is a white butterfly) I think it brought some sort of maturity for both characters.
Her butterfly mode : pink + yellow
The two dresses she wore during her arc : pink + yellow
The flowers Mitsuki picked for Sekiei and the flowers and butterflies from the place he picked them : pink + yellow + white
All this has been explained better by that account on twitter, the person made some other interesting parallel between Chocho and Mitsuki arcs, so you can check them out if you want to.
If you remember the ending at that time, the pink and the blue represented Mitsuki and Boruto and their relationships.
As I was rewatching some of the ep, so I could do the gifs and all, I noticed Chocho too was represented by the colour pink in the ending.
It’s a lighter pink compared to the pink used to represent Boruto, and that’s because Boruto is his sun, and he look up to him the most. His departure from the village and his thoughts were very centered around Boruto, but him learning during Chocho’s arc the importance of knowing his true essence, also motivated him to leave the village as Oro said at the end of the arc.

Boruto characters associated with Pink + Yellow!
Himawari! Even though her main color is yellow.
Boruto! Even though his main color is pink.
And Chouchou! Pink and Yellow make Orange and she’s the only one who actually has all three in her color palette.
And then Boruto and Chouchou again with their bags!
I thank the user Miss Akimichi for the Mitsucho post that inspired this! I don’t know how to tag that now, but I will reblog it. And I know for a fact that there’s other openings/endings that show Chouchou with pink, but I don’t remember which. I just needed something light hearted after the spoilers.
