Thinking about Sephiroth's biological father is a nightmare because. okay Square you've told me bluntly that it's Hojo and I want to believe you. but also in the original game why is "...!" Vincent's reaction to Hojo saying Sephiroth is his son. Why would he be surprised that the Lucrecia's husband is the father of her son. He's not stupid, he knows Seohiroth wasn't an immaculate conception. He's had 30 years to think about and come to terms with the fact that Hojo is the logical father of Sephiroth. Why would he be surprised(?) at having this confirmed unless he had reason to think it was someone else. Square. Answer the fucking question Square

and afterwards, Aerith is constantly hovering around until she sees Tifa's better (and saying something only Tifa gets to hear, apparently)
