Why did The Clone Wars never do a podracing episode it would’ve been so funny??? Like imagine Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka go to some planet on Very Serious Jedi Business but after being there for 5 minutes they find out the planet has a podracing track and internally Obi-Wan is just going “oh no” but Anakin is already on his way to the track digging credits out of his pockets to bet and arguing with the locals because he has Opinions On Podracing and the rest of the episode is Obi-Wan and Ahsoka trying to get Anakin back on task but it’s literally impossible because podracing and of course the end is him entering a race (and winning obviously) and that ends up somehow being the thing that gets the planet to side with the Republic and Obi-Wan is just dying the whole time

when i was a freshman in college i wanted to dress up for halloween because i thought surely college students would have the spirit. so i elected to put a whole entire Skull Kid from legend of zelda majora’s mask cosplay together and wear that fucking ensemble to college on halloween.

i step on campus and realize immediately that not one other person is dressed up. not so much as a cat ear headband. so imagine this fucking dude sitting in a class of otherwise normally dressed people looking like this. that was me. this was my 9/11

No but this is absolutely just Luke being a massive masochist. I like to imagine a universe where all of Luke's hardship and struggle is just him purposefully making the decisions which will bring him the most pain.

It would actually explain why he was dead-set on redeeming his father, going to all those lengths to try and save him, but at the same time decides that he has to kill Ben Solo when he sees a little bit of Anakin in him.

It would also explain his other bad decisions, like fighting Vader without finishing his training, going out exploring Hoth alone without backup, isolating himself from the force and other people, and how he is always trying to do everything by himself.

This would all be explained by Luke just consciously deciding to take the path of most resistance, which leads him to all his confrontations and suffering.

Luke "Sunshine Boy" Skywalker smiles even when getting dismembered/shocked, how could anyone dislike him?
