I'm Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business management and building a career. However, due to my family's financial hardships, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (KYTC), affiliated with UNRWA. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.

I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.

My younger brother, Ahmad, is 14 years old and currently in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and natural talent in mathematics. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing war, he has been deprived of schooling for the second consecutive year. In addition to his academic abilities, Ahmad has a passion for football and used to win tournaments.

Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Each day, my brother and I would wake up to fetch water, gather wood, and light a fire to prepare food. Survival became our daily task, but we never gave up hope. The conflict affected us deeply, but it did not extinguish our dreams of education and a better future.

Everything was over! 😱💔 Shells exploded everywhere, the walls of our home collapsed over our heads 🏠💣, and the deafening sounds mingled with the screams of my children 😭😢. Our home, once full of life, is now a heap of ashes. 😔💔

Since that fateful moment, we’ve been living in an ongoing nightmare. My children no longer know what safety means. Qusai and Jouri cry every night 😭💔, hiding from the sound of explosions, asking me: “Why are we living in this hell?” 🔥💣 And I stand powerless before their tears. Mohammed, who used to run and play, now sits in a corner, frightened, refusing to leave my side 😢. As for little Adam, he has never known the taste of comfort or a good night’s sleep 🥺💤. Even his innocent laughter has become a thing of the past.

Hunger, Thirst, and Slow Death…🍞💧💊

We are now homeless 🏚️, without food 🍽️, and without clean water 💧. My children go to bed hungry and in pain, waking up each morning with only remnants of hope 😞😣. This is our story - On October 7, our lives changed forever. My family and I left our home to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but that did not happen. Their tents have flooded and she fears they may not survive the coming winter. She fears for her nieces and nephews who awoke to the sound of bombing mere tents away from them.

We are approaching history. 4-11 [is] the anniversary of the martyrdom of my older brother Muhammad in northern Gaza in Beit Hanoun. The city of Beit Hanoun is now under siege as it was under siege on 4/11/2006. The anniversary of the martyrdom of my brother Muhammad at the hands of the Israeli occupation is approaching...and my family is still threatened by death from the same enemy.

We live a few meters away from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, which was targeted and burned, and its occupants burned in front of the eyes of the world. Imagine being constantly under bombing for more than one year now. These bombs have already killed your father and they continue to kill and injure members of your family. Aside from imagine having to take care of your sick mother as well. All these while there is no access to water or food or medicine and barely any medical care available anymore.

This is what Ahmed Alashi (@ahmadalashi) has had to go through so far. His mother 68 years old and ill. Losing your parents is unimaginable and having one of them sick in such conditions during a genocide is equally terrifying.

His gofundme was set up in April this year. It is now November and has only raised 11% of the goal. The last donation was SEVEN DAYS AGO. 1 Dollar equals 10.96 SEK so you don't even have the 5$ minimum donation but i urge everyone to donate at least 55 SEK.

The chuffed campaign has raised only 155$ out of the 10000$ goal. The minimum donation on chuffed is 1$ which everyone can afford to donate.

Hanan, her husband, and their three young children are fighting to survive the genocide in Ghazzah.

They endured the bombing of their home with themselves still inside, and afterwards were displaced to tent camps by the coast. Hanan's husband's clothing store, their main source of income, was destroyed as well during the bombardments. They are now living every day without the most basic amenities of living; their tent doesn't even protect them from the weather.
