Coffee is essential to any good camping trip — a bag of fresh grounds is usually the first thing in our pack. We like to keep things simple so we developed a feather-light mesh filter that brews superb coffee without a bunch of bells and whistles or moving parts. Our kit "tames the morning bear" with traditional cowboy style brewing, where the grinds go in with the hot water. Before heading out on a hike, make sure you’ve packed the right clothes! Think moisture-wicking base layers, wool socks that keep you warm even when you’re wet, layers you can easily take off or put on as the temperature changes, a waterproof shell for unexpected rain and a hat to keep your head warm and dry. Here’s a hint: our Hiking Socks are the best around--we’ve checked! Woven from Merino wool they even have a little extra cushioning in the heel and ball of the foot.
