Putting this on a read more cause I’m a little embarrassed...

Anyways I’ve decided that I’m taking an indefinite hiatus from tumblr, but more specifically from this fandom. The fandom is, for me, lately too much of a negative space, and before yall start yelling at me let me say this: rightfully so. I’m talking about the whole Jin situation right now, which unfortunately because of Big Hit’s horrible management has been a problem for quite some time now.

Yesterday when the cover came out I was not so concerned about the whole line distribution thing, because I thought I’d better save my energy for a potential Bangtan comeback in case we need to riot again then (which we probably will have to), but all I’m seeing on my dash are really sad Jin stans and that makes me so so sad as well, because I’m not Jin biased and I’m still heartbroken by the way he is treated not only by Big Hit but more specifically by this fandom as well, who allow him to be treated as dirt as long as it does not concern their bias.

The mentality of this fandom is really fucked up and most people just want to hide behind the bullshit of ‘vocal colors’ and ‘they decide on this together’. Bull fucking shit. Jin has expressed multiple times how this affects him and how it upsets him so if you don’t want to acknowledge that just fucking admit you don’t care about him and leave. On top of that the whole ‘vocal color’ story is also bullshit and yall freaking know it. I’m a maknae line stan I guess because I’m Jimin biased and I’m more than willing to admit that none of them can outsing him or are like 10000 times better than him get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.

What I’m trying to say is that I can’t deal with all of the fake ass non Jin stans who tell actual Jin stans that they can’t be upset and I also can no longer handle Jin being treated like this and his stans being upset on my dash cause there is nothing I can do for yall and that makes me really sad. Jin is a very very talented person and he deserves so much more and I don’t know if for now I can continue to support a group that treats him this way (because I’m sorry I don’t think it’s only Big Hit on this. Bangtan have a lot of creative input and none of them appear to have the balls to stand up to Big Hit if Namjoon’s ‘we shouldn’t be jealous over line distribution’ is anything to go by).

I’ll silently continue to follow the boys until their next comeback and who knows maybe by then I will feel better about all this and I’m able to come back but for now I really don’t know. I just don’t feel happy or in a good place anymore lately so I need to leave. To all the people fighting for Jin daily: bless your hearts and I hope you guys will never stop. I hope you guys will continue to be loud and vocal and piss the rest of the fandom off so much that maybe Big Hit eventually will notice as well.

Bon Voyage 2 Episode 2: aka Namjin Go On a Date (seriously)

First they bicker because Seokjin thinks Namjoon isn’t listening to him - and then he points out Namjoon hasn’t rubbed his sunscreen in properly…and helps him fix it

Then they go to the beach

And build their rock piles so they can make a wish

Except, of course, Namjoon’s falls over

So Jin helps him fix it

and they make their wishes

Then they go to a restaurant by the ocean

where they share a salad and have the sweetest and most sincere conversation about what happiness truly is for them

They continue talking while they share a slice of chocolate cake

And then they just watch the sunset together

And then they are dorks

Just when you think they can’t get any cuter, they go shopping to buy presents for each other

Namjoon buys Jin a turtle he wants

and Jin buys Namjoon a necklace

They then go for a short walk where Jin says ‘Aloha’ to literally every stranger he sees

And finally they meet up with the others

and Namjoon is openly wearing the necklace Jin bought him

They end the episode with separate interviews where Namjoon says he really wants to learn from Jin because he admires him so much.

Jin heartbreakingly talks about how he’s outwardly cheerful, but he really does have worries and concerns, he just keeps his emotions inside.  He also mentions that Namjoon is a friend he can rely on and their talk really helped him.

This episode was just really cute, but had some real emotion that shows how much Namjoon and Seokjin can learn from each other.
