whenever i listen to I Hate It Here i can't help but get the image of a person who has had a death experience out of my head. this person that has seen a glimpse of what the other side looks like, of what peace feels like and how ever since then they can't function properly, because they feel stuck in this society. so they keep going back to "secret gardens" and "lunar valleys" in their mind, that only they can access, because no one else has experience death. no one else understands their pain of coming back to being tortured in the real world and no one understands that "way up there" they actually loved it more than down here on earth.
