Been back on my Harada kick since I bought HCL and also read the CouDou 2020....I was hyping and cheering at every time the guys showed up and interacted, truly my avengers endgame. Also it speaks to the quality of their characterization and storytelling that even in the sfw story, all the characters really feel like they inhabited a world as characters, not just as vessels for experiencing romance, situations, etc. Very phenomenal.

Also on a personal note I was so happy to see Yui and Kei hanging out and being chill and sus together. Idk seeing them be happy means a lot to me...ive written extensively about it already but it drives me up the wall when people unambiguously interpret the Nii-Chan ending as "obviously, its BAD and shows how dark their situation is and how Yui is a poor boi trapped in a situation w his abuser" well yeah in real life maybe but in the weird yaoi world they live in....they got a pretty good, pretty mundane ending! It's not perfect--Kei has severe body and identity confidence issues, and Yui is very possessive and a little scary in his determinations. but they're like, communicating and have goals and stuff to work towards. It was fun to see them again haha.
