Bound!Remmick AU

Annie wakes up before dawn one day and finds Remmick standing over her baby's grave. She is angry and afraid finding him there, and banishes him to his hole under her house before he can even say a word.

Some time passes and while Annie doesn't forget about the moment, it falls to the back of her mind. She continues to leave milk and flowers at her daughter's grave.

One night, when Smoke is away and Annie can’t sleep, Remmick shows up at her door. He asks her about the grave and saying sorry for Annie's loss. They get to talking about Annie's baby girl, how perfect she was and how she looked so much like Smoke. They talk about Annie and Smoke maybe trying for another baby, especially now that the Juke is making good money and Smoke settling back into a normal life.

Remmick talks about how he remembers his mother always being pregnant, but have only a few siblings survive past their first years. People died so much more in the past. He feels like he had a child of his own, but he can't remember for sure. Doesn't know if he is mixing up memories, think his youngest siblings are his children. He's sure he had a wife, he was more than old enough to marry by the time he was turned, but he can't remember her name or what she looked like.

Annie thinks he should kill him and send him to his long dead family, but she can't do it herself. Remmick has grown on her. These soft moments, seeing the human in the monster, have gotten to Annie.
