I was thinking about how the lone wanderer and sole survivor could probably meet yesterday. So i guess it carried over to today. If anyone would like to see this idea expanded upon, let me know and I may write a little more 🫶

“I was like you, once,” a lone figure speaks, suddenly and quietly in the halls of the Prydwen.

The Sole Survivor turns, an eyebrow quirked up as he stares at the armour clad figure, who wore a set of power armour he hadn’t seen any of the other brotherhood members wear. But something he’d seen during the war, those two-hundred something years ago. “What do you mean?”

“I was the same thing as you,” A shift in stance, and then heavy footsteps brought this person closer to him. “A vault dweller turned into some kind of saviour.”

Hoxton was pretty skeptical at first

He was surprised when he learned you were being genuine and didn’t hate his guts

He wasn’t used to people being nice to him

When he got to know you more, he’d tell small stories about his time with the payday gang

He’d also listen to you whenever you needed to complain about something

You’re by far his favourite in there

When it comes to you, he’ll try to not get into fights, as long as it keeps you happy

After a while, he started bugging you with little flirty jabs

At first you weren’t really sure if he was poking fun at you or actually flirting

After a while he did make it pretty clear though

It took you a while to used to it

He was delighted when you started flirting back a little bit

He was pretty upset after learning about the transfer though

He did say his goodbyes to you, and told you about how he felt

He tried not to be sappy about it

It also took him a bit to get to the point

It wasn’t long after when you heard about the breakout

You weren’t expecting to hear from him again

But surprise! He bumped into you on a heist

You were just trying to cash in a check

He was a bit smug for a bit, before giving you his number

He also hauled you to a pretty safe spot

You also scored a date, at a pretty nice restaurant

Not one that you’ve ever been to

You were 99% sure the people running the place were also criminals

He told you not to worry about it though

He got something to share with you

Overall, it was a nice date!
