Well obviously I can’t have chronic fatigue, that’s a real problem for real disabled people that’s diagnosed by doctors probably. Clearly I just have some sort of perpetual exhaustion issue, that is also almost certainly my fault somehow

honestly, the radicalizing event that made me ditch faux-ironic detachment is when I sent a hard-to-write sentimental message to someone I was (at the time) close with, and they sent the vomiting emoji back. it was like oh okay, that sucks. I am now of the opinion that it is 100x cooler and braver to be sappy with the people you care about.

First book finished of 2025. I'm finally going to start posting here yay!

I rated this book 5☆

It was vague enough to not give me any answers but still made sense as I read it, I usually don't go for books about death, because death is a scary subject. But I love how this book was written, I love the simplicity but the amount of depth.

It's a short read and I finished it in two days, it was just around cirka 120 pages. This is also my third fitscarraldo edition book, I really enjoy the simplistic covers and how the pages are formatted. I hope the author releases more work, because I will definitely look for more by her.

Due to unfortunate leading events, I luckily ended up with a day in Reykjavík and I can say it’s definitely one of my top 3 adventures of all time.
