That day I woke up crying
Inspired by this article, which caught in my throat for a good while.

People who try to copy historical writing styles don't say enough weird stuff in them. I'm listening to a 1909 story about a ghost car right now, and the narrator just said he honked the car horn a bunch of times, but the way he phrased it was "I wrought a wild concerto on the hooter".

Just sharing pictures of Ashley. She's still trucking along. I'm spending $336 on her meds every two weeks.

My mom had to go to the emergency room Wednesday, and then back again Thursday. They finally admitted her very early Friday morning. She was released Saturday afternoon.
Which means I missed work.
And now my bank account is so drained. I went to my eye appointment, but maybe I should have canceled. It was $162.
I am now on my way to the orthopedic office, hopefully for steroid injections.
But I don't know how much my co-pay will be. I tried calling to find out and was told "you're not having surgery, just the injections."
I really can't afford the injections, but need them. I do not know if I will have a $60 co-pay or not. I guess I will find out when I get there.
I hate US health system.

So, way back in the spring, I found this dog. I assumed that he was just lost, and it would be quick to reunite him with his human(s).
I still have this dog. Irving Animal Services, (through which he was adopted) doesn't really want to take him back.
I took him to TCAP for vaccination, because I don't have money.
Well, he was positive for heartworm. Sigh. It's like I can't win for losing.
Asking if anyone has ever had a dog treated for this. What was it like?

Do people know about Vocational Rehab? If you're USAmerican they have this in every state.
It's a program that helps disabled folks access education, training, and employment. For FREE.
You only have to be disabled to qualify (autism, ADHD, mental illness, physical illness, etc) and they cover very broad categories of disability. You do NOT have to be officially diagnosed yet when you walk in - they will even help pay for your diagnosis if you are struggling w disability.
I applied with my suspected autism and fibromyalgia, and they paid for 100% of my formal autism assessment.
Once your disability is established they will give you career counseling to learn about your interests and skills, and depending on the plan you create with your caseworker they will then help with school or finding employment. They paid for 100% of my college tuition and books, and even provided a laptop for me to use.
You do not have to pay anything for this program. If you make above a certain income, you will have to contribute to educational costs but will still receive assistance.
They will also help with the cost of things like mental health counseling while you work towards your goals, clothing for interviews, etc.
They cannot discriminate based on your race, gender, or sexual orientation.
They won't make you do excessive meetings.
They will allow you to do meetings with your caseworker remotely.
They will not drug test you.
They want you to succeed.
I'm sure that individual experiences vary but my caseworker was exceptionally easy to work with and very kind.
Vocational Rehab is a phenomenal resource every disabled person should be aware of. Here is the list of offices in every state:

Okay, here's my idea:
The British should put a time limit on the Monarchy.
Not like declaring a republic tomorrow, but deciding on a date in the future that ends the British Monarchy.
And there's a perfect date for it coming up!
October 14th, 2066.
A thousand years since the Battle of Hastings. A thousand years of this one specific bloodline ruling England.
Call time on the Monarchy after exactly one thousand years. Nice, and neat.
Even better: Charles isn't living 44 years. He'll be gone in about twenty. Now William? He's what, 40? Yeah, he can live another 44 years. His great grandmother was over a hundred, his granny was 96, William can make it to 84 barring accident or assassination.
So on October 14th 2066, William the Last steps down a thousand years after William the First won the crown.
Nice, neat, and fair. William gets the crown he's been waiting forty years for already, but ten-year-old George grows up without expectation of it.
Have a nice big abdication ceremony, even.

But, in some churches, pastors/ preachers/ religious leaders regularly tell their flock for whom to vote. How is that different from Taylor Swift telling Swifties to vote Democrat?
Gop flat out admitting they don’t want young people to vote, tho.
They are even acknowledging she isn’t telling anyone how to vote.
Just telling them to vote makes her bad.

May I vent?
I don't know what to say.
So, I have been fostering cats for Texas Pawprints. Back in February, I was asked to take in a pregnant cat. I was thinking, "aww cute kittens."
OMG, they are a lot of work, and they eat like hungry teenagers.
I left Kohl's, and went to work at White Rock Soap Gallery. WRSG is full-time. A bit more money, but I spend so much on the kittens, I can't save anything.
So, since 2012, I have been help dad with mom, because mom is paralyzed from about T6-7 down. She can not get out of bed without assistance. We shift her position so she won't get bedsores.
Well, Saturday, September 31, she accused me of "not doing anything". I clean (some). I assisst her for her doctor's appointments, and make the van reservations. (She pays for the van.)
I am just upset over this. If I had the funds to move out now, I would. But I have 3 cats, and 6 foster cats. Moving anywhere would be a challenge.
Anyhoo, still on Instagram and Facebook. I recently started a Tik Tok.
I am attempting to raise funds by selling some art.
My Instagram

Now also wondering- should I set up a GoFundMe for moving expenses?
