like assuming that script page is real i do think a buried alive cliffhanger makes a lot of sense and is the best case scenario for both us and the show because you have the whole of 816 to explore their grief and use it to push characters forward while still not permakilling a main character, and then two more episodes to tackle the aftermath of that and reconcile what they did while they were out of their minds with grief with the clarity of that grief suddenly going away when bobby returns. what i’m saying is that buddie will have an impulse kiss in 816 and then act super weird around each other for 1.5 episodes and then realize they want to be together in the finale

This might be something. 🤔

It would make sense. We get an episode focused on Athena and the 118 mourning Bobby, so we'll see their reactions to losing one of their own.

But the show won't have to deal with the real consequences of someone actually dying on the 'show where no one ever dies'.

This way the season can end on a happy note and the WeeWoo show will remain the 'show where no one dies'.

But in the mean time the characters' lives have been thoroughly shaken up by Bobby's temporary death and they will have gotten a whole new perspective on life and how no one is really promised tomorrow. 😏

Buck feelings realization at the end of S8 but instead of us having a heartfelt confession, Eddie realization, and the progression into buck 4.0 we have Buck crumbling under the weight of being in love with his straight best friend and the death of the best father figure he’s ever had and we have a regression back to Manwhore Buck™ 1.0 as he runs from himself and all his big feelings.

everything about this is so crazy like i have never experienced anything like this. funeral streamed live on tiktok -> buried alive script on jlh's insta but it's essentially illegible then clearer on ostark's insta but he quickly deletes it but also it's april fool's day -> ostark says he lied for promo in a brief q&a -> ostark (always at the scene of the crime) replies to comments about bobby's possible death with 😄😁😃 ALL OF THIS BTW BEFORE THE EPISODE. then, bobby dies -> crucially we don't see a body in fact the episode ends fairly abruptly with a body bag -> interviews drop and bald cunt tim minear stresses that bobby is really truly dead trust me -> also says they did not anticipate bobby's funeral being filmed in broad daylight dtla to be leaked because it's just a little firefighter show (one of THE highest rated shows on abc btw) -> peter posts a goodbye letter -> cast start posting frankly very odd goodbyes on instagram -> ryan guzman shares an rip edit of bobby with a pink bow set to louis armstrong's what a wonderful world -> kenny posts a video edit of peter set to spongebob music -> kenny seemingly cries through an interview -> kenny (another one always at the scene of the crime) replies to people saying they won't watch the show again with essentially, understandable me too -> aisha posts a heartfelt goodbye then deletes it and posts a different more vague version -> also it is discovered that bobby's funeral is taking place at somewhere literally named The Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection. like does anyone else feel like they're on lsd or

The first one felt more genuine and heartfelt. Like it gave Aisha vibes.

no I actually can't stop thinking about it. tommy never put in the work. he didn't dress up for the bachelor party. he barely indulged buck's halloween antics. he literally got buck basketball tickets as an anniversary gift because he never took the time to actually learn his likes and dislikes. buck offers him a place in his life and tommy runs from it, and only now comes back for it. now that the 'competition' is gone. now that he thinks it's gonna be easy. he wants to have buck without earning him.

i do love how buck realised he was bisexual and it was like wow! huge character development moment! maybe this was the missing piece in his growth! only for him to just barrel straight into another disaster relationship. like.. terrible first date, then reconciling and immediately inviting him to a family wedding? six months later they've somehow never even mentioned the fact that tommy isn't into women or that he was previously ENGAGED (let alone that it was to the same women buck had a deeply formative relationship with). and to celebrate this milestone tommy gets buck a gift we've established he isn't interested in, but it's ok because buck got him nothing. also buck is NOT in love (or seemingly even considering it), but nevermind he obviously has to invite tommy to move in. because of glee. but instead that conversation ends with buck getting dumped. and then they run into each other and have sex at buck's best friend's old house he lives in now only for tommy to reveal he's only interested if he's not in competition with said best friend. to which buck fails to deny the in love with his best friend allegations but makes sure to mention that he doesn't have to have feelings for tommy just because he slept with him........ how beautiful that buck can fail to have a functioning relationship regardless of gender <3
