Buckler
A D&D inspired webcomic, Buckler is focused on a tiefling who goes by Swash. He's always been interested in becoming a sailor and exploring, but certain limitations have constantly set him back. When the chance arises for him to get out and eventually gain control of his own ship, it's an offer that's almost too good to be true, and one he's eager to jump on.
He and his younger sister are hired onto a crew with four others, to complete a job for their mysterious benefactor who goes only by R. They're asked to hunt down a necromancer and deliver their research to R for safe keeping, and in exchange are promised answers to their questions, power, and the opportunity to change their lives around.

Buckler: A D&D-inspired webcomic
Hey, all! I'm starting a new project, a webcomic around a D&D-based story that I created some years ago. This is still a very early stage project, but I'm excited to move forward with it and share this with others.
Buckler is about a young tiefling who goes by Swash, who's always been fascinated by ships and sailors, but unable to pursue such a lifestyle himself for reasons as varied as concern over his illiteracy to a need to be with and care for his little sister. When an opportunity arises for him to leave his home island and sail out on an adventure, Swash is eager to take it.
He and his sister Atka join up with four others (Nissa the gnome sailor, half-elven magic brothers Nockt and Korrin, and human monk Teller) to meet a mysterious benefactor who goes only by the name of R. He offers them a job, and in return will provide answers to questions, power, and the opportunity to change their lives around. All they have to do is track down a few necromancers and deliver their notes to R for safe keeping.
If you're interested in following the story of a budding group of adventurers headed by a bisexual disaster of an overconfident teenager, give this blog a follow and spread the word! When pages are finished, they'll be uploaded here individually, and as it gets closer to completing a chapter, I may start looking at uploading to other sites.
