it’s funny, I often see people write Webber (when they include him) as a mute child and… he is a child but he’s not mute. instead he sounds like a bunch of metal ropes banging together and I think that’s funnier.

also the whole “lost in translation” thing would be so interesting. He can talk, but knows a language no one else does. His vocal cords might not even be able to produce the right sounds at all. So yeah I think he learns sign language, but sometimes he forgets to (like when working on strange contraptions) and so he just turns a round and goes “BRNBRBRBRBR”

not to vaguely post about a niche problem that bothers me specifically as if it is some sort of universal experience, but a niche thing just bothered me specifically.

I saw a blog that had, among a couple other things that were only marginally less bewildering, had ‘ageless blogs’ in their DNI list. Like what? do I not get to have even half an ounce of illusory privacy on this app? I’m just a little tired of the ‘everyone must be completely transparent about all of their personal details and identifying labels or else they are A Creep’ sentiment, as if someone determined to be A Creep wouldn’t just happily manufacture a convincing set of traits and attributes to assign themselves. I don’t see it everywhere but that person’s list was an interesting crystallization of the phenomenon.

IDK. People are out there living their lives and if someone wants to never interact with a blog that doesn’t post an age, I suppose I have no practical way or convincing reason to stop them. But I am allowed to find it a little baffling.

I’m going to be completely honest with you. That gif for whatever reason caught be COMPLETELY off guard and I started howling laughing. My partner came in to see what was up so I showed HIM the video and he started losing it too. Thank you, and happy Halloween!
