Micro Graphic Memoir

This moment meant a lot to me. I've always been a fan of ancient history and especially the overlooked history of the americas. Seeing one of the new 7 wonders of the world was an amazing experience. Although, traveling there was much less exciting. You see such a wonderful place, yet surrounding it is poverty lack of resources and stability. I can still remember seeing worn out buildings, people carrying there food home and kids playing with a worn soccer ball. Crazy how we overlook these things and focus on what matters to us. Not what really matters.

I bite my tongue, it's a bad habit.

I see my demise, yet I continue to dispel my solutions

I notice the benefit of change, and still pursue my vice

I view my existence crumbling, yet I ignore the restoration

I spot my fallacies, I see my end

I vision my life in a better place, yet I don't see the path to this destination

I perceive my world as fine, yet I know I am dying inside

Confessional

When I first watched this video, I was 14 years old. A video like this to a young boy would not be entirely relatable, but I can remember finding inspiration through Casey's story. I see this as confessional because it is a tale of struggle, uncertainty, and perseverance. It is not easy to tell your life story including the good and the bad. Casey Niestat is proof, that there will always be some sort of light at the end of the tunnel.

My intro

Hi, my name is Bryant. I am a transfer student that is beginning his second semester here at Rutgers. I am looking forward to this class because I see this as an opportunity to broaden my understanding of media writing and the creativity that goes into it. This class will provide me an opportunity to have an expressive approach on modern topics and pop culture that we see today. I hope to come out of this class with a better understanding of communication within the media space. I am not a very expressive individual on social media. I am a content consumer in reality. I will use this as an opportunity to open up my opinion to the world.
