Dear Taylor,

With all respect and love from the very bottom of my heart, I’ve decided to start this petition and write this letter. As a Swiftie myself from 2009, and with all due respect you and your team deserve, I raise my voice today on behalf of all Latin American Swifties out there who have never had the chance to attend one of your concerts, tours or meet you and yet have been supporting and admiring you through these 13 years with no hesitation.

We buy your music, we vote for every nomination you get, we tell people about you and your lyrics, we identify ourselves with your music, every time you will release something new we’re there willing to be your extra advertising team; we post on our online profiles, we create hashtags and we spread the love you spread. We want you to come and meet us hopefully with the ‘Lover tour’ as we have more than a decade of love accumulated to give you once we finally get to see you perform. I know you do go on tours which can host about 70k+ people and that’s just amazing, however, these locations are far from most of us, some Latin American swifties cannot afford taking a flight, paying a hotel room in expensive cities or even getting a VISA to travel. I know we need to calm down but we want to have the same priviledges other regions’ Swifties get!

We’re not asking for your tour to visit every Latin country because we know that’s just not viable business-wise but we want you to come to a country that’s more affordable for us to visit. For example, México, I am not from México myself but I can guarantee you all of us in Latin America can be there for 90% less of the cost it’d take us to go to the United States.

I really truly long and hope that you get to see this letter and maybe visit us some time. You are welcome to any country in Latin America whenever you may wanna come and meet us! We’re like the craziest fans you’ll ever meet, guaranteed! 💘. Again, I don’t mean to be rude, demanding or shady as this is just a full-of-love request for you with no bad intentions or anything related — just pure love and our hearts’ wish to come true some day.
