itrek Positions
itrek has recently opened four full-time positions based out of our New York Office. itrek aims to advance an informed understanding and appreciation of Israel among rising influentials. We recruit, mentor, and support passionate trip leaders to lead their peers to visit Israel and experience her innovation, global contributions, diverse culture and complex reality.
Alumni Engagement Associate will oversee the execution of itrek Network activities and offerings, gather data about engagement to inform future programming choices, and help develop new programs and offerings to be piloted in the future.
Senior Major Gifts Officer will identify, cultivate and build relationships with existing and new donor prospects.
Development Officer will cultivate relationships with our community of past itrek trip leaders and their networks.
Development Communications Associate will steward relationships with donors and prospects by preparing grant proposals and reports and donor correspondence.

Habonim Dror Camp Moshava (“Mosh”) is a progressive, Jewish overnight camp in Harford County, Maryland. We focus on teaching about the environment, social justice, Jewish peoplehood, and inclusion. Counselors work with kids from 4th through 10th grade to build community, build a sense of self, and create a fun and magical summer.
Work for one or both sessions:
Construction (Mandatory pre-summer preparation for all staff): June 9-20
First Session: June 21-July 17

The AJC Global Forum 2020
The AJC Global Forum 2020 will be held June 14-17 in Berlin, Germany. The program includes a mixture of large plenary sessions featuring headline speakers and smaller breakout sessions designed to explore the key political, strategic, and social concerns affecting the future of world Jewry. At this unique gathering you will not only experience what it means to be a part of a global people, but also engage in meaningful advocacy to advance the well-being of the Jewish community.
The conference will feature a special, exclusive programming track for campus leaders. Participants will network with one another and develop advocacy and coalition-building skills in a unique international setting. 
Applicants who are selected to participate in the campus leaders program will receive a discounted conference registration rate of $500, complimentary hotel accommodations, all meals during the conference, and a travel stipend. Students who do not require lodging during the conference will be able to register for only $250. Limited scholarships are available for students with demonstrated financial need.  Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

Steiner Summer Yiddish Program
The Steiner Summer Yiddish Program is now accepting applications for the 2020 Steiner Summer Yiddish Program and the Yiddish Book Center’s Fellowship Program!
The Steiner Summer Yiddish Program offers beginner and intermediate language tracks that include three hours of daily Yiddish instruction and an array of Yiddish cultural programs and social activities, including film screenings, workshops, and concerts. In the afternoon, beginner students take an introductory course in Yiddish culture and history, while students in the intermediate track work on the Center’s ongoing projects in exchange for free housing and a $1,000 stipend. The program runs May 31-July 17, 2020. All accepted students receive full-tuition scholarships and are eligible for college credits through the University of Massachusetts Amherst. More details and the application can be found on our website. Recent graduates in Jewish studies or related fields are invited to apply to the Fellowship Program. Fellows spend a year in Amherst, Massachusetts as full-time Center staff and play key roles in established projects and new initiatives. In the Fellowship, they’ll strengthen existing professional skills and gain valuable proficiency in the dynamic world of Jewish cultural preservation. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Yiddish, a strong academic background, and a commitment to Yiddish language and culture. Each fellow receives a stipend of $30,000 plus health insurance. K-5th grade afterschool program at the Dwares JCC
Position open for teaching K-5th grade afterschool program at the Dwares JCC, starting in October, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 2:30-6. The position starts at $12 an hour, but can go up a little with experience.  More optional hours may be available during school vacations, subbing, and weekends. Responsibilities include helping with activities, snack, clean up, and escorting kids to the JCC.

Reconstructionist synagogue in Attleboro, MA seeks teacher for 4/5th grade class. Class meets on Sunday morning (Judaics) and Wednesday afternoon (Hebrew) and we will consider candidates for both or either days. We are looking for a creative, energetic teacher. Teaching experience is valued, but we are open to training a beginning teacher. We are a small school that has as its goal growing Jewish adults, and focus on developing community and family learning. Class curriculum includes Torah (B’reishit), living our Jewish values, holiday traditions, tefila, Hebrew phonics and beginning modern Hebrew language skills.

Program Associate
The Mandel Institute for Nonprofit Leadership seeks a Program Associate at our Brookline, MA office. The Program Associate’s responsibilities will include coordination of seminars, meetings and other convenings; administration of calendar, invoices and travel; and research support for curriculum development. The Program Associate will report to the Assistant Director and work closely with other members of the Institute staff. 
The Mandel Institute is an arm of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation. The Program Associate will be employed by the Foundation. The position is full-time and includes employee benefits. 
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree as of Spring 2019, excellent administrative, organizational and communications skills, and an outstanding capacity for team-work. Additional skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office and a capacity for self-direction, effective time-management, multitasking and attention to detail.
