'You Deserve Each Other' is about second-chance romance. This romance debut perfect for those who are looking for the love-hate-to-love trope, dynamic main characters, and a story that you will not be able to put down! If you like slow-burn, second chance romances- you'd probably really enjoy this. I loved the humor and the back and forth between the characters.⠀

This is told from a first-person POV, we follow Naomi's perspective, she cared so much with how others would feel in regards to their current feelings in the relationship and what would happen if they ended things. The story follows Naomi and Nicholas, who are engaged to be married in a few short months, as they come to a startling realization: they don’t want to get married and don’t even really like each other anymore. Only three months away from tying the knot when they find themselves questioning their relationship, irritating one another, playing pranks on each. They used to present themselves as the perfect couple, but in reality they've gotten to the point where they can't stand each other. What started as a fairy tale beginning, now over a year later has left them falling out of love and barely being able to speak honestly with each other!⠀

I can’t believe this is a debut novel! At the start I thought I was going to end up liking this book for the first 30% or so. Because she was so immature but character development happened and this book ripped my heart out and shoved it back into my chest. It’s more a lovers to enemies to lovers theme and we lapped up all the funny, crazy, heartbreaking and beautifully emotional moments! So well-paced, well-written, and the characters were super lovable. This book had me laughing constantly! The banter is brilliant and the pettiness is fantastic. The horrible mother in law was the funniest part.⠀

Overall though its a solid contemporary romance, I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good rom-com.

What a cute and adorable Cinderella retelling it is! This book is the full package- fairytale retelling, geek love story, and includes diverse characters. It has all the classic elements: evil stepmother, an evil stepsister and her not-so-evil twin sister, glass slippers, ball, and Prince Charming. The author did a great job of including the elements of the Cinderella in this nerdy modern story. 'Geekerella' plays on the classic fairy tale of Cinderella; it plays with the essence of the classic fairy tale, but it also takes the story beyond the fairy tale.

I loved both Elle and Darien's characters and thought they were well developed. This book celebrates both IRL friends and friends you meet online. The characters are lovable and raw - each with their own external selves full of assumed stereotypes and their internal, realistic thoughts, loves, and realizations. I loved Ashley’s writing style in this book, how we got to see both points of view of Darien & Elle. I especially loved how the chapters were a decent size.

And as a fangirl, I could 100% identify with Elle's love for her fandom. She lives it. It made it very relatable since I'm a fangirl myself. Who haven't been dying for a movie, series, book or character? She is such a Fangirl, but Ashley Poston makes her so believable, and so super relatable! Elle is a really cool and tough character and I felt so bad for her throughout the book. She deserves the world.

It was also a quick-fluffy read that I could not put down. But I couldn't give five stars because in the end things were a bit too unrealistic and dramatic for me but it's still a really sweet, stinking cute and heartwarming book! If you're looking for a fun, fluffy read I highly suggest it!
