I would recognize my own cipher anywhere, but it is strange to read something unrecognizable but undeniably your own work. Some of these, of course, were not written by me, the handwriting isn't mine, but I can recognize Ripper's handwriting, the Good Doctor's, ah, this is my own, an old stone tablet, some of my earliest notes, pristinely kept, but still experiencing the wear of modern day. I should have Ripper assist me in rerecording these notes before they're lost forever to time.

I'm reminded of something. Something that fills me with this incomprehensible rage, my arms could never have been filled enough to take all that I missed, and now it is gone. Sure as ash has ever been and ever will be again, there is nothing there now, there is nothing here in my head either, simply a hole where that knowledge once was. She would remember, and I am sure she does, unless that was before her time, it's hard to say, I forget so much these days. I think I shall spend some time reading tonight, there are so many notes left untouched.
