A few years ago I thought the start of a new year meant new beginnings, adventure, and promise. Little did I realize it would prove to be more challenging and life changing than I ever thought possible. It's taken me two years to finally find the bravery within to share my experience with cancer and the loss of my fertility in my twenties before having any children with the world; all while dealing with the abrupt death of a loved one in the midst of it all.
