What is one book you always recommend to people? Or what is one book you think everyone should read at least once? Personally, I believe everyone should read The Giver by Lois Lowry (at least the first book). I read it in middle school but I remember liking it a lot. It basically touches on human existence and follows themes of expression and government oppression. A lot of it might fit in today's context too!
