Who would have any motive to steal the boss? Loads of people. If he couldn’t find out who exactly took him he would just go slaughter each and every single one of their enemies until he found the boss. He didn’t care about the consequences, having his partner back was worth everything. He would kill everyone around if Dazai so requested, and he would do it regardless of anyone else.
